This place is a sight for sore eyes in Montgomery. It doesn't look like it belongs here which is a GOOD THING! The line moves quickly, but the young girl taking orders on Wednesday was less than enthusiastic and bordered on appearing annoyed, especially when my husband (who hadn't studied the menu or read reviews like I had) didn't realize that all the burgers were not double. Based on what he ordered and what I know about him, I pointed out what he meant to order after she had rung up what he'd said. She was not happy! Anyway, the wait was not long! The burger was heavy on the sauce and made the bun soggy, so it was a bit messy to eat, and it fell apart, but it was DELICIOUS! My husband said he'll order it again with lite sauce or no sauce... his fries were VERY SALTY but they were delicious fries. Will order again with no added salt. My chicken sandwich was delicious, no complaints. The Lemonade is made fresh daily and is a STEEP $4 a bottle, but DELICIOUS! I decided to go back after my meal and try an OG donut, but they were out, so I settled for a chocolate glazed. It was perfect! ... NO COMPLAINTS there! My only real discrepancy was the CHOCOLATE shake! Well, I ORDERED chocolate, but what the guy gave me was what looked like a vanilla shake with oreo cookies on top. I said, "I ordered chocolate." He said, "Oh, It's chocolate, I promise you." He said I can tell because there's chocolate sprinkles on the top!" I said, "No, those are oreo cookie crumbles." He tried to convince me but I gently insisted and he took it back. Whwn he brought me the next CHOCOLATE shake, I could see that chocolate syrup was partially mixed in but it still looked like a mostly vanilla shake and still had ground oreo, not chocolate sprinkles, on top. I took a few sips, and I was literally getting bits and pieces of oreo in every sip! I believe he had made the wrong shake (Oreo Cookies and Cream) and instead of making the correction, and making a new chocolate shake, he took the oreo shake and just added chocolate syrup to and partially blended it. Unless they make their chocolate shakes with oreos in them? I won't get another shake! I spent too much money not to get what I ordered. I decided not to complain about it, but I won't get another shake there. My husband tasted it, and neither one of us liked it. We dropped it in the trash on the way out and went around to Midtown Pizza Kitchen, where they make the BEST Chocolate shakes and got one to go! Overall, the place is great! They're new and have some things to work through. I'm patient and will go for what I know is good. Looking forward to trying other options as well. Welcome to Montgomery! I hope you enjoy...
Read moreThe Food Was Outstanding, My Wife (Heather Davis) Had The Classic Burger, We Skipped The Tomato, But It Do Come On This Burger Which Had Lettuce, Onion, Pickles, Mayo, Ketchup, And Mustard, And It Was Very Good And They Also Had Something Called Crack Sauce. I Had The Kolaches, Which Is Basically A Sausage In A Hot Pocket, Which Had Cheese And Jalapeños Inside, And It Was The Bomb Too. Me And My Wife Usually Would Pick Different Foods Because We Want To Taste Each New Item, So We Split Both Meals And Shared, And Like I Said Before, The Food Was Cooked Fresh And The Fries Were Crinckled, Crispy, And Hot, And My Wife Also Ordered An Oreo Shake And It Was More Tasty Than Dairy Queens Blizzards, Because It Tasted Homemade. We Most Definitely Will Be Back Cause The Vibe Was Awesome And The Service Was Outstanding And The Food Was Seasoned To Perfection, My Type Of Atmosphere And Service With A Smile. First Time...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen they say brioche they are not kidding. Did the glazed. It was like eating a bread bun that was iced. If that's your style and what you're looking for, good on you. Donuts at 7am first thing were not warm. My son was excited to go so we were the first in line and maybe the donuts were cold for that reason. I did see staff glazing more while we were there. Management is running the register when they should invest the time to train the staff up to be efficient. The tipping on the Toast was at peak percentage. (Not cool for counter service, especially when it's management interfacing.) The shop is clean and trendy. I'm happy the restaurant group is investing in Montgomery, and I hope others enjoy brioche style donuts more than I do. Legit for a half dozen, and two drinks it...
