I am not a difficult person, but a drive thru is a DRIVE THRU. not a PULL UP AND WAIT. Especially when there is nobody else aside from one other car in line. I ordered. a simple 10 piece nugget combo. I had my 3 dogs with me. They hand me my drink and told me to pull up.to a parking spot. I explained my dogs were fine sitting at the window but if someone approaches the car, they become very territorial, the little cashier copped attitude and asked, "someone can't walk up to the car" while rocking her head back and forth ? I again explained at the window they are fine. but if someone approaches the car, they get territorial. . I said it is just a 10 piece nugget. no other car in line, It should not matter, if I wait at the window. She rolled her eyes and I guess when to tell the manager or whoever. A minute later they gave me the food.. It has become to the point now where every where you go they tell you to pull up or back up, out of the window because I found out they have timers on the windows, I guess that triggers on and off when a car moves up to and then out of view. So when they tell you to pull up or back up are giving the appearance they are moving cars quickly through when in fact they are pulling you up to wait so they look like they are being productive. Too add to it, the nuggets and fries were both luke warm at best, so not even...
Read moreA Co worker and I went to eat lunch here earlier and it was laughable at how poorly this place was managed. After standing at the registers for more than 10 minutes we decide to stop waiting and order from their self checkout machines. While we were trying to figure the machine out one of the workers finally chooses to acknowledge that we are there and offers help but doesn't say a word while helping and then turns to us and asks do you understand now. Well after we figured it out the same person takes someone's order at the register that we stood in front of for 10 minutes. But that's not all, then we go to get out drinks they have no sweet tea ready so we decide to get a soda. I try the sprite first, all it turns out to be is seltzer water. I think oh well and try the other machine, the same thing occurs. So I try Dr. Pepper, again both machines only gave us seltzer water. In the end the only drink we could get was coke because everything else was just seltzer water and the sweet tea was still being brewed. All of this coupled with the employees lack of enthusiasm or customer service tell me one of two things. 1) McDonald's no longer cares about customer satisfaction or 2) McDonald's no longer cares about how their stores are managed. Either way I won't be returning to that McDonald's or perhaps no...
Read moreMy experience took place in the drive thru. The young lady took my order and my payment very promptly, but something happened at the receiving window that held the line up entirely too long. When you can see food being passed back and forth between the car and the building, that tells me someone got the order wrong. Come on people, it's not that hard to look up at a monitor and put that into a bag. They should have been told to pull over and start all over with their order. I'm not too sure as too how healthy that is anyway. I guess I'm fussing just a little bit because I've waited tables before in one of Montgomery's up scale restaurants and not bragging, but I NEVER got any of my customer's orders wrong. That was NOT acceptable at all. It's called pay attention and focus on what you are doing. You don't have time at work to laugh and talk to your friends when you're dealing with the public. That's for after work. Also, I guess the people that work the drive thru don't realize that a lot of people do the drive thru because their on the go and most times have to eat and drive at the same time. WE NEED...
