So to start this spot has been here and gone through some notable changes over the years. I have eaten here off and on for decades. The restaurant is small but functional with tables and a drive through. It's clean and you can call in orders or order online. The food is fine and my only real complaint is the level of interpretation each restaurant has of a recipe. The dishes are identical in name on the menu but vary in similarity to other restaurants in form. The general Tso's for example has no spice or chili flavor. Their menu shows a spicy symbol next to sesame chicken which is never spicy and surprisingly enough despite the symbol theirs isn't spicy either. The chow mein is not a fried noodle like many spots and the lo mein is more like a spaghetti noodle. While I feel like I might enjoy many of the dishes I also worry that I won't be getting what I'm signing to for when I order and that's concerning. It means the menu would require thorough exploration and understanding much more than the name of a dish you might have had before or how Google describes "Hunan chicken". Portions are enormous, value is great, people are pleasant, place is clean and orders take about 15 minutes. But it's not the place to try if you are craving a dish you haven't ordered here before because it might not be what...
Read moreThe lo mein is spaghetti noodles, and thats the best part of the meal.
We ordered general tso chicken, orange chicken, kung pao chicken, steamed rice, lo mein, fried rice, eggrolls, and teriyaki sauce. All of the chicken tasted like seafood. If you’re allergic, definitely dont eat anything here. The fried rice had no flavor at all. The teriyaki wasnt very good, and neither were the eggrolls. Even the people in my family that like EVERYTHING didnt like anything we ate. The lo mein was the only thing that we found edible, and it wasnt that great. Only giving 2 stars because I feel bad when I only give 1. Definitely dont recommend. If youre looking for good fried rice, check out the WNB Factory, its so...
Read moreI'm not sure how long this business has been open but I've been a customer at least 15 years. It's highly rated by me for sentimental reasons. They have good dishes you just have to know what to order. Basically, get the Mongolian chicken if you've never been here before. The comments about the lo mein are on point and I always thought it was weird they never updated it to more legit noodles since Mr. Chen's is right there now. The fried rice is also bizarre and the only place I've ever gotten it without egg. However, the lunch special prices remain unbeatable and the service has always been good which means something to me. And they have online ordering for people who hate...
