Worst experience I had going to the drive-thru and all my life I went to order my son some food which he is autistic and he is very picky so every time we go out I get in the same thing a plain hamburger which I explained to the cashier that is plain only meat and bun nothing else on it we proceed to the window and wage awhile and when I get my burger it has cheese and everything else on it and I explained hey this is wrong I ordered a plain hamburger she looked at me like I was stupid and said no you just asked for no ketchup and I said no lady I asked for a plain hamburger she proceeded to walk into the back I must have grabbed her manager which came to the window and cleared at me and said you ordered this with just no ketchup I said no I ordered it with plain only meat and bun she scowled at me turn and walked away a couple minutes later the cashier came and handed my burger I said well can I have my Sunday that I ordered so Sunday like yeah can I get with this only ice cream no toppings she looked at me like I was dumb like you want anything else on it I said no just ice cream vanilla as soon as she walked away the manager came to the window and said you need to leave there's a lot of people behind you waiting and I said I haven't got my order yet I'm waiting on my ice cream so no you got to go said give me my ice cream she said fine walked away and the cashier came and handing my ice cream with hot fudge on it. She knew I didn't want any toppings on it they were so rude that I will never go to the Dairy Queen in Monticello again they should not be in customer service rude people no wonder why Dairy Queen sucks lately is because of those two ladies so if I could get them zero Stars I would ridiculous tell me what I did and did not order and look at me like I'm stupid worst experience ever I suggest you never go to Dairy Queen in Monticello they are a joke disgusting...
Read moreI went thru the drive thru last week and ordered a 4pc chicken basket, the drive thru employee Caetlyn was polite and had great customer service. Once i was back at my office i noticed the fries were undercooked. I called and spoke to a female manager and expressed how disappointed i was about the fries but was very impressed with the customer service. The manager was polite and expressed that she would like to make it right and gave me a courtesy meal for next time i was in the area. I went today as i was in the area. No one waiting in drive thru so i went though the drive thru again as last time the service was excellent. This was not the case this time. When ordering i already sensed some attitude. I let the man know that i had an issue about a week ago and spoke with a female manager and she said i would have a free meal. He was like well i'll check our book(tone was rude), i was like yes that is what she said she would write my name down in the book. Went to the window and guy had me park in spot 1, few minutes later next person parked next to me in spot 2. I waited 10 minutes from when i ordered and then went inside and asked how long, a guy handed me my food and walked back to my car and the guy was coming to bring the other person's food. So I am assuming that even though its not far to walk out to bring me my food I had to wait for parking spot 2's food. Not sure if that is the case or not, but over all very disappointed. I am pretty patient and understanding but when a place is not busy and you are waiting longer than you know your food takes to cook it is very frustrating. The positive side of this visit is the fries were cooked, not hot more like luke warm but better than the...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE! As a CURRENT dairy queen employee in Minnesota I know what is right and wrong. I went here 2 days ago with my mom to treat her to a blizzard, and got one for myself as well. She ordered a mini confetti cake blizzard, and when we got it the entire outside of the cup was covered in melted ice cream. I had to grab kleenex from my car to wipe it up because they didn’t even give us napkins. I had ordered a banana split blizzard but with twist ice cream instead of chocolate sauce to make it less runny. When they were handing it out the blizzard was white. I asked if it was with twist, to which he told me yes (I know it’s not because I make it every shift that I work) he then offers to remake the the blizzard so we wait. Eventually he comes back with it and flips it. When I tell you that it was DRIPPING when he flipped the blizzard you better believe me. Nonetheless I take it and go on with my day. I park, start talking with my mom, and take a bite. I immediately spit it out. It was beyond bitter and had this weird flavor similar to eggs. I then start looking and notice something FUZZY on one of the strawberries. I’m not going to say it’s mold because I’m not positive, but it was something that closely resembles it at the least. On top of all of this the people running the speaker and window were just over rude, did not utilize company greetings (we may not like it, but it is the company policy) and you can tell they didn’t want...
