McDonald's — Restaurant in Moon Township

I usually just place my order by drive-thru, but this time I chose to dine in, and I am so glad that I did. The food was prepared well, but it was the service that blew me away. The place was somewhat busy, but the short wait was communicated immediately and I appreciated that. The food was fast and fresh and exactly what I ordered, which is sadly not always the case nowadays. This was every bit of a satisfactory experience in itself, but what happened next is the reason I spent the time to write this review. As I was eating my delicious burger and fries, I noticed that one of the workers was going around to each patron’s table. It was the fry cook, and when he arrived at my table he asked “How is everything?” You would have thought this man was the founder by how delighted he was to ask the question, but no, just a man who takes pride in his work. I mentioned how the fries were top tier. “I made them.” He said with a great big smile on his face. His infectious enthusiasm and care of his craft, added a touch of authenticity that transformed a simple meal into a memorable encounter. In a world that often rushes past human connections, encounters like these should remind us of the joy that can be evoked in others. I've given this McDonald's so many tries and I'm finally leaving a review to express my disappointment in the store. Yes, they did recently undergo a renovation, so, you would think that this store is actually on its game when actually it isn't. I've been there multiple times when the grill just goes down and it takes 15 minutes for them to get it working again. I'm an Uber driver and a lot of the times that I go to this McDonald's is to pick up orders for Uber Eats. Everytime I go here, I always end up waiting and dealing with one of three very disgruntled managers. This last time that I went there, the side door was locked at 8:30!! Not sure why but, because Uber drivers can only go inside to pick up their orders, I had to walk all the way around to the other side door entrance to get inside and then I waited 15 minutes plus just to get someone else's food. This is a very disappointing store and I hate whenever I have to go here for Uber. It's always a let down and I have NEVERA had a good experience coming here. One time I had to come back here three different times within a span of an hour and I had to wait for every order for over 10 mins!! Needless to say, this store really needs to work on its egress and effectiveness to get the orders out more effectively...

This will never make me eat out at any Mcdonalds again. 1. Customer service is a joke here whether it’s the disrespectful high schoolers or long term employees. 2, Around 9:30 pm (oct 14th) I went to moon Mcdonalds after work, I asked for a 10 piece meal with a mocha frappe for an upcharge. I went down the street to getgo and drank a little bit and automatically thought they gave me a chocolate milkshake- already aggravated because this Mcdonalds always seems to screw up orders. I went back to get a refund because obviously I didn’t order that so I wanted to get a Coke instead. THE MANAGER came to the window to look at it and specifically said “oh it looks like they gave a mocha frap but it had to have been sitting out” and I’m not going to repeat on here what I said. So I basically received an old a** mocha frappe, he tried to then say “well it probably wasn’t sitting too long” either way it’s in the Food Temp. Danger Zone !! I work in food industry and know all of this. Then waited for about 2 minutes for someone to hand me my coke that was SITTING ON THE COUNTER and decided to leave because everyone loves to be texting on their phones.
