Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Moore

Sweet & Spicy Gouda double burger combo--it is delicious, my favorite burger on their menu, BUT....it is the MESSIEST thing I've ever gotten from Braum's. I just ordered this -minus the bun- at the drive-thru 3 days ago, checked the bag for a plastic fork & knife...not there (why??), so I set it on the seat beside me & drove to my house 8 min away.

When I got home, I had to actually tear the bag apart to get the food out because the inside of the bag was COATED with the sauce from the burger.

Maybe you're asking yourself why wasn't the sauce Inside the Box holding the burger? That's a good question. I'm glad you asked. It's because the burger was put upside down into the bag and then apparently beaten like a pinata before the rest of the food was piled in there. Everything we ordered was covered with the sauce. It is delicious, but I'm not trying to eat it off the outside of every container of food. I don't know why it is so difficult to keep it right side up, but we have had this happen with every single one of these combos that we have ordered.

I'm not sure if the only solution is to order the sauce in a closed container on the side, but there's no reason for it to coat everything on the inside of the box. Just careless handling before it's passed to the customer.

And to be fair, I want to mention that I have ordered this at other Braum's locations as well, and they have done exactly the same thing. The sauce is leaking all over, though it didn't coat absolutely everything in the bag like it did this time.

They did not ever seem to do that with other types of burgers that I have ordered there, so I don't know what the big issue is with this particular one, but apparently it makes the employees angry and they take it out on the bags of food.

...Which brings me to my next point. Yes, I get it that this is a limited time offer, but not everybody wants to order it as a combo, and additionally, not everybody wants to order it as a double burger. The burgers are delicious, but I don't need two of them, and they will not allow me to order it as a single burger patty, nor as the burger alone without the rest of the combo. These are things that need to be addressed by Braum's corporate.

I've seen inmates happier to do their job. I interacted with two people through the drive-thru, the first one said a total of 10 words to me and four of those included the total. No greeting. Just a "order when you're ready". Said nothing to me at the window. When I moved on to the next window, the person there said absolutely nothing and handed my food to me. I almost asked for some ketchup, but after taking another look at the extreme sorrow in their eyes I decided it was best just to drive off. Now for the food, now I know it's just fast food so I shouldn't really be expecting anything too grand. It would appear that they've run out of condiments at that braum's, and lettuce, and onions, and pickles and pretty much everything it would appear. As you can tell from the picture the burger had maybe three pieces of shredded lettuce, and two circles of the middle part of an onion. I'm starting to understand why the employees are so depressed, I'm certain I would be too if that's the quality of food that I was serving. At least the fries were warmer than ambient temperature. My favorite place to buy my grocery, ice cream and burger. This store under the management of Susie has been a great place to visit. Employees such as Aaron and Tammy are also great part of this great operation. I am a builder and most of the time I am running short to spend too much tim on my lunch, so Brahms store on 19th street is my place to visit for a fast service. Although most of the time I walk in the store to see some smiley face of Susie and rest of the employees to make my day go better. During this hard time my wife and I almost 4 times a week we go to this store to get our favorite ice cream. I can not say enough how great full we are that this place to be there. Something noticeable is the fact that Susie is always there. With all that hard work(I know fast food is not easy place to work) I never see her anything in her face other than smile.
