I was disappointed with restaurant. We arrived about 5:15 last night to beat the rush. However, they were already fairly busy. We were seated right away and received our drinks, chips, salsa, and queso promptly. Our server (Fernanda) was very friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quickly (10-15 min.) and was very hot. The food was very disappointing except for the chips and salsa.I had steak fajitas with beans and rice. The steak was cut much thicker than I expected and was very chewy, not tender at all. It had a very odd flavor that was not tasty in my opinion. The onions were cut in large round pieces and there were hardly any peppers. They also put red potatoes on their fajitas. I had one big piece. My wife had a chicken chimichanga which was hot, but the cheese inside was all clumped into one part of the chimichanga. We ordered a soft taco with ground beef for my grandson and it was just meat on a very dried out tortilla shell. They are also very skimpy with the refried beans and rice. We had water to drink and we paid $42.00 for 2 entrees a soft taco, and a side of lettuce and tomatoes which cost us $3.50. Despite the great service, I will not be going back to this restaurant. It is way too costly for the poor quality of their food.

There is not enough words to express the amazing experience i had today. Been on this earth for 33 years and in those year i have never had such a great experience at a sit down resturants like i did today. Hands down best expirience I have had and i dont say that lightly. Our day was made by the staff and in particular our server Mando. Greated at the door with hospitality and our server did an amazaing job at hosting us and making sure we were well taken care of. He didnt linger and ask if we were ok 1000 times yet he still manage to make his rounds and make sure we were okay during the duration of our stay. The food came out super quick and Mando did a great job at entertaining us, had the whole table laughing. The food was delicious and the drinks even better. We are Dallas locals and were visiting for the babies 1st birthday and the whole family gave this expirience our seal of approval. You bet we will drive three hours and be back. If you want a GREAT experience ask for Mando next time you go in. He definelay deserves a raise and more tips for how great he is at his job.

Hidalgo was a nice little surprise. The setting was nice and welcoming. It gave off an authentic Mexican diner feel. The murals on the wall and the sombrero hat ceiling lamp was a wonderful addition to the decor. The hosts were nice and the waitress we had was very accomodating and understanding of all our orders. I went with a group of 10 and were sitted with no issues. They also brought chips with salsa and queso and tortillas as soon as we were sitted. I loved the tortillas and would go back for them. I had the beef tamales for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The Tres leches was great. The chocolate over it add a lot of pizazz and it was delicious. I enjoyed the food so much, I forgot to take a pictures of the food. I'm giving 4 stars because they could do a little extra cleaning. The area we sat was a bit dirty. Not a nice setting while trying to eat. Overall, my family and I enjoyed this restaurant and we would go back again.

We were in from Tulsa and was recommended Hidalgo's by a local for a good place to stop in for lunch on the way out of town. When we arrived, we were seated quickly. The server came and got our drink order, and we asked what they liked on the menu. The server didn't have a great deal of knowledge on a few of the menu items that my wife asked about. My wife ordered the lunch street tacos (with no onions and lots of cilantro), but they did not come with rice and beans. The server advised of a $5 upcharge for them, not a huge deal but seemed high. The food arrived, and the tacos had very little cilantro when asked for extra. She asked for more as there was hardly any on them and was told that was another $2 upcharge (reminder she took off the onions that came on them). That was a little upsetting. The server didn't say, "Let me see what I can do," just straight to that's an upcharge bringing the meal to almost double the menu price at this point. In the end, the server went to the manager when we asked them to, and the manager did bring out more cilantro at no extra charge. The whole experience just seemed like a money grab over something that cost less than $1 a bushel at the grocery store and no focus on taking care of the customer. The food was mediocre (hince my no comment in the first review that I left). Based on this experience, we will not be...

We have gone to this location many times since it opened and the experience is always different but one thing remains the same. The QUESO!!!! It's the best. They have a white queso option but it's hit or miss. They are very pricey, the service is always terrible. Our experience on Saturday was when walked in, we were greeted by a bunch of ppl in the front, I said we are a party of 6. I need 2 high chairs and a sling please. We got directed to our table then got left. We had to go find high chairs and a sling ourselves (as if our hands weren't full enough with 2 toddlers and a baby) the Waiter took our drink order. We ordered our toddlers lemonade and it was then we realized our waiter didn't understand basic English because they brought out something orange for the toddlers. Then when he took our order he didn't understand us so the food that got brought to us was all wrong. I ordered mine meat and cheese only and I got pico, lettuce everything on the tacos (I'm allergic to pico) my husband ordered a nacho with steak and he brought him bean and cheese nachos. After we got it all fixed I asked the waiter for a to go cup of just ice ( I have chronic nausea and ice helps) he brought me an empty cup. That's when we have up and left. 🤦‍♀️ This is the experience we get 75% of the time that...

It looks like a normal strip mall restaurant but the inside is colorful and has a very open layout. When you first get seated, they bring fresh homemade chips, salsa, cheese sauce and soft tortillas. I ordered a perfect Margarita, and the presentation was absolutely amazing with diced up fresh Watermelon and limes in a beautiful glass with seasoned salt around the rim. The cocktail was absolutely perfect, the bartender was super friendly and quick. My food came out within minutes of ordering, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely delicious. This is Tex-Mex at its finest. The staff is extremely friendly and quick to respond to your needs.

I don’t normally leave reviews unless the place is bad lol but I wanted to give this place some credit because so many restaurants are just 2-3 star average these days. This restaurant is delivering on all the key points. Prices were completely reasonable and average, My entrée was the same price as a fast food hamburger meal at most places. I don’t live in town, but every time I have to work in the Moore area, I know where to eat now. There are a bunch of options in the area, but not many of them are highly rated and my past experiences at other places were meh like an Italian place that looks like...
