i always try and give places the benefit of the doubt for crappy service but this sonic is not good. Service always takes forever even if it's slow. One time i waited fifteen minutes for a sweet tea, i was one of three cars and i honestly think they forgot about me because i was parked near the door since it was late and i could see them just standing inside chatting. On another occasion after i ordered, again just a sweet tea, another person drove up ordered and got their order before me. They had ordered two ice cream shakes and two other kinds of drinks.
Another time they gave us an order of onion rings all of which were completely burnt.
Recently i ordered a sweet tea and the first three sips i got nothing but a mouth full of sugar like they had just dumped in sugar into my tea without bothering to stir it or something.
i always pay with a credit card and half the time i still get asked for payment and when i ask if my card didn't go through the carhop always says "Oh you paid with a card? Ok." and then they leave.
i have stopped going to this sonic because of how many bad experiences i've had.
Who ever owns this place seriously needs to do something because your crew and service...
Read moreI want a double cheese burger. No lettuce, no onions. With Mayo... Now you would think with all the high tech computers and big tv screens Sonic has invested in their stores that it would not be out of the question to get what simply ordered. BUT NO. Everytime I go to this store they mess up something. And in their defense it's not just them. It's all fast food anymore. They need to put a double check system in fast food assembly lines. One person makes your order, the next person double checks that the first person knows how to read the high tech computers and big TV that your order is plastered all over. Geez my 1st grader could have a higher success rate at not messing up a simple order than most of these teens working at these fast food places nowadays. I guess the only other idea I can think of to get a order right is to post these peoples Facebook or twitter account so you can send them a request and then they can have it right in front of them on a 4x7 screen instead of a 32" screen. And I know it's not the people ringing it up or bringing it out to me that's to blame. It's the person making my order...
Read moreMy experiences at the Sonic Drive In on 19th St. have been a mixed bag, which is why I'm giving it four stars. I must admit, I find myself preferring the locations on Western Ave or the one in Norman off Tecumseh and 36th Ave.
I have encountered some hiccups at the 19th street location in the past, but it's been a while since my last negative experience. I'm willing to give them more chances and see if they've made improvements.
One of the most frustrating aspects of this particular location is its layout. With only one way in and out, it's easy for drivers to get confused. This confusion often leads to people sitting in the middle, unsure whether to turn left or right. A simple fix would be to install a sign to clarify this, along with some marked roads.
Overall, while there's room for improvement, I'm cautiously optimistic about future visits. With a bit of attention to the layout and signage, this Sonic location has the potential to provide a smoother experience for...
