I recently visited the newly opened Starbucks and was NOT IMPRESSED Not very AFRICAN AMERICAN FRIENDLY… As myself and my spouse enter into the cafe we were not greeted and when we were noticed it was as if we didn’t belong the young lady and manger was dry and short with us. I requested for them to not touch the part of the cup that I put my lips on due to them touching the money and making drinks… and let just say my request was denied and when I sent my drink back the manger told me the trash is outside…. And my drink wasn’t remade….. she was not going to remake my drink or as if to say okay your kind isn’t welcome… now beat it!!!! U know the silly part to this is a white couple came into the store and they were greeted with a smile and when they messed up on their items they remade them and didn’t treat them like they were out of place or didn’t belong!!! And when my spouse asked if there was a rest room he was told no.. and he said, “well that is a large area there”she well we do have to take breaks and she rolled her eyes! Like it’s our fault they are slow and had us waiting about 45mins!!! So in comes another customer and she is African-American as well and the same manager doesn’t greet her doesn’t acknowledge that a customer has come in, she keeps her back turned and never says a word for at least 10mins and when she turns around she still says nothing. So if you want your gourmet expensive coffee made right and you happen to be African-American or multicultural don’t use this...

I ordered my usual, a vanilla chai tea latte and a warmed butter croissant, which were both delightful. The flavors were spot on, and the croissant was perfectly warm and flaky. What truly set this visit apart was the exceptional customer service at the drive-through window. Read moreI know it’s inconvenient, but I went to this Starbucks at 8:58 pm and they would not take my order despite employees clearly walking around inside and them being open for another 2 minutes. When I called the store, the employee told me that “a lot of times they close early and their machines turn off by themselves”. So I’m supposed to believe that Starbucks controls turning off the machines and does so before closing.. okay.
