Burger King — Restaurant in Moorhead

This place is getting, WORSE! Today I walk out of the Plasma donation center which is very nearby. I found that the dining room at this BK seemed open with a couple customers inside. I went to the counter to order. At this time the manager comes to the front counter and tells the cashier that she is shutting the dining room down so everything ordered has to be to go. She did not speak to me at all. She spoke to a couple that already had ordered to go and told them the door to exit after they got their order and then proceeded to go over and let a couple folks that were already seated which door to exit when they were finished due to locking of the main entry to close the dinning area. She also told them to take their time. I was handed my bag of food I ordered and paid for and told to make sure I used the proper door to leave. I left. Sidenote: The windchill today is negative 30 below and it would be another 20 minutes till the bus got to me. I stood out on the ice in the dangerously cold wind for 20 minutes trying very fast to eat my frozen food that was in the bag. Sidenote #2 : I really thought I could have ordered to dine in as I was already in. Sidenote #3: I watched them all from outside and they did NOT start to clean at all anywhere in the dinning room for that entire 20 minutes! Sidenote #4: I went into another buisiness nearby and was not at all surprised to happen to hear a few people gathered inside and they happened to be involved in story of another bad incident at the same BK. I was then told that the managers name is Michelle as well as other interesting stuff about this particular ( Bad B.K ). I honestly would enjoy seeing them boycotted in favor of many other places nearby that acualy deserve our buisiness and treat folks fairly. When I pulled up to the speaker I was told to order when I was ready, when I ordered my sandwiches she said there was going to be a wait which was fine, then I told her the customizations and she sighed, deleted the order, then proceeded to tell me to “hold up” and repeat what I just told her in a rude voice. When I got to the window I handed her my card and asked for sauce but she slammed the window before I could finish the sentence. She ran the card and gave it back then told me to pull around the corner. I asked her again for the sauces in which she said I will be charged, I said that was fine and she sighed again like it was a huge issue. She handed the card back again and slammed the window immediately. After waiting 5 minutes all the food seemed to be in the bag so I headed home. When I arrived home all of the burger buns were hard as a rock, two bacon cheeseburgers had mayo on them and three burgers had very little ketchup when they were ordered “heavy ketchup”. The fries were cold, the onion rings were cold, the burgers which we were supposably pulled for were cold as well. Finally there was no marinara sauce for the cheese sticks. I’m not sure if the employee messed up the order on purpose but the amount of errors made and cold food after waiting 5 minutes is...

Update 3/6/2025: really like the upside down sundae containers to hand give customers their ketchup in. Worked really well! Since they don’t have ketchup out to take your own anymore. Drive thru is still their main priority, although I only waited a few minutes to place my in restaurant order. Only three or four customers eating in the restaurant when I arrived.

Update 8/19/2024: Used the app to order ahead. Food was ready on time give or take a minute or two. Wasn’t busy when I arrived, which may have helped. Staff are different than when I was here last. Would recommend drive thru or app order to be more prioritized.

Update: Just don’t bother. They cannot keep up with orders, are very disorganized and do not care about those in the lobby. If you go through drive thru it may be worth taking your time here, otherwise just no.

Slow service inside. They will take your order in okay time, but you’ll wait and wait to get your food. Food completed out of order for who ordered when in line inside, too. Recommend to not order any chicken for the time it takes to get. The fries many times are very, very salty at this location. Ask for no salt and add your own. It is generally pretty quiet (not many people)...
