The employees were not working as a team at all. The worst attitude on the drink maker also, so I'm kinda scared to try my drinks. The cold foam is so thin that I can see my matcha on top even though I haven't tried it. The strawberry foam from Fargo was actually pink, but they seemed to skimp on the extras here. Please improve the environment of this place bcuz the impact y'all have on people's day should matter to y'all, Starbucks. If there's a mobile order, usually they're made at the same time, or at least close in time, but I had to wait for about 10 minutes between drinks!?! I had one drink sitting right away upon arrival, but had to watch the counter fill up with only one guy doing all the other drinks. Instead of caring to ask me what I needed (as other Starbucks employees usually do) or any type of assistance was not offered by anyone of whom was talking amongst themselves behind him clearly not as busy at all. I heard them talking about Monday... It's not appropriate to have customers waiting 20 minutes after the mobile order while other workers aren't trying to help out the team, or customers at all, but selfishly chat as if it's their playground. I enjoy this Starbucks location, but I'm really really hoping to see improvement within the employment team. Update after tasting: The coffee tastes bitter while I had "4 extra pumps of apple brown sugar syrup" I didn't taste at all (I never usually have sweets, and broke my fast right before, so there's nothing wrong with my taste). The foam has the faintest taste of an artificial strawberry vs last time I've received from Fargo when it literally tasted like a strawberry milkshake. :( I just wanted to have a happy experience since that's what the brand of Starbucks mainly tries to sell right, but ended up in a mood worse that when I woke up after catching these negative vibes. I want to bless all the people at this Starbucks to feel more connected, whole, and to feel the love that comes from making others happy and satisfied. I'm leaving this review to raise anawareness of how impactful y'all are as employees at Starbucks, and not as a stress bringing thought, but rather the opposite. I want y'all to realize y'all matter to make a positive difference in people's lives since that can spread so far from such small encounters, and y'all will feel better just by knowing you're making others...
Read moreI'm also a reviewer on TripAdvisor, so I'll post there as well. What happened Starbucks? Another problem today. This location used to be 5 stars for me. Since the remodel and some new faces there, I've seen a significant decline in consistency of service and attitude amongst the staff. I was excited to see they had nitro cold brew when they reopened, but now my app says it's sold out at this store. Also, when I ordered a nitro via mobile app, I thought the protocol was that they wouldn't pull it until the customer came up to the counter. Instead mine had been sitting there poured when I walked in.
As other reviewers have stated, can be very hit or miss. Today they did not complete our mobile order. Two drinks and egg bites. The drink that wasn't out was a cold brew with heavy cream. Takes less than a minute to drink. The baristas filling the orders weren't making eye contact so I had to go to one of the registers to get a young lady to help me there. Then I overheard one of the baristas make a comment about hearing my name called out, as if "well, we put that order up awhile ago." If that were a year ago, that drink would have been comped or I would have been given a coupon for a free drink upon my next visit.
I also don't enjoy hearing baristas bemoaning the fact that they are tired, or they've worked all weekend. Whatever. How about some smiles. I don't know. As I said, something has changed and it's not...
Read moreIt really breaks my heart that we are judged based on our tone of voice or color or ethnicity or culture. It isn’t everyone that comes in for a cup of coffee who might have had a good sleep and will have it enthusiastic spirit at 9 AM in the morning. Some of us might have had a tough night and just need a couple good coffee to help them boost our spirit in a good direction through the course of the day. It really breaks my heart that individuals aren’t educated well enough and rather judge and be rude using their tone of voice and body language making customer not wanting to come back ever again. I hope individuals who serve other individuals or trade services could put away your own emotions and help others by cheering them up even if they’re not in a good mood to help them have a wonderful day. I hope staff who are in a good mood and might have customers with different cultures different personalities different tone voices keep putting out positive energy even if they don’t understand them. How do we judge when we only see eyes and hear voices without reading facial expressions. And please, don’t feed of another employees emotion to treat the same...
