EDIT for 2023:
I don't know what happened. I think there's new owners? This place is horrible now. We ordered from them yesterday and there were several issues.
There is soup now, but we have no idea what it is apart from having bones in it. We're vegetarians and only ordered vegetarian things. No mention of soup was made by mouth or via the menu.
The falafels are kind of dry, and there's not much sauce to fix this. Totally skippable.
We ordered fries for our little one and that was a whole issue. They didn't make them, then we reminded them that we'd ordered fries and they wanted to argue with us about it because it wasn't on the digital order (they put it in). They even showed us it wasn't on the order. Sure, it was a mistake, but don't argue with us, just let us order a unit of fries and let us give you money!
The fries were undercooked. Raw and soggy right out of the fryer.
The Naan we ordered was undercooked too. I don't know how they did it, but somehow they gave us naan that was basically dough.
So yeah, it was a great place and now it's something to avoid. You want a good kebab? You want delicious falafel? You want smooth and flavorful hummus? You want divine baklava? Newroz Kebab has you covered. This place is fantastic! went here and got a bunch of stuff and brought it home. Even our 3-year-old loved it (Do you know how picky toddlers are?!?) so I think it's safe to say this place passes all the tests.
They made all of our food fresh after we ordered it (except the naan, but that would have added a lot of time to the process), and it was all so good!
We will...
Read moreWe happened to stop here today on their first day in business, before the grand opening even. We were expecting a bit of a fast food type of place due to the location. But they definitely serve full meals that are not fast food, but rather made from scratch healthy meals. The food was delicious. It was very fresh and flavorful. The portions are large. I would normally not be able to finish the plate, but I finished this one, because I was very hungry and my husband was helping me after he had finished his. My husband had kebab, and I - I don't remember the name of the dish, but it was from the rotating grill. Both of our dishes were marvelous. This is going to be one of my favorite places to eat in the Fargo/Moorhead area from now on! I already added my pictures to the location pictures. The restaurant interior is very lively and friendly. The staff are very friendly, it feels like the kind of place, where they might actually remember you, when you come back, the kind of place, where you are a customer, or a restaurant family member, rather than a number. I am very much looking forward...
Read moreWe were looking for some local places to eat lunch and came across this one on Google. We like that type of food in general so we were up for it. We had to wait for our food, but it was not a big deal. Everything came out fresh and hot! We had different platters including chicken and beef. These came with chicken soup, pretty good one! It's not your typical chicken soup from the can so it takes way better! Plates came with the side sauce which was the highlight of the meal for me! So yummy! Seriously, the best tasting sauce I have every tried! The rice was AMAZING! I don't think I ever said it about the rice before. It tasted so good! We also got pita bread with hummus but I personally didn't care for spices over hummus. Olive oil over was a nice touch. And employees there are the best! So nice, welcoming, and kind! They explained the difference between different types of food we were thinking to order. Such a nice family! Thank you! We highly recommend...
