First off warning, this is not a 5 star establishment: this is a dive bar that has been there a long time and it shows. Its up against the train tracks, behind a Taco Johns, kinda hidden. BUT: If you are looking for the best value burger in all of Fargo, this is it. Over the last year, they have increased their cheese selection, as well as adding around 10 specialized burger - my favorite being the PBJ Burger - which has Peanut Butter & Jelly on it (I know, sounds wierd, try it!!!). Cheap beer pitchers too! OH, and make sure you get chips to go with your burger!!! They will accomodate you if you want extra crispy chips too - tell them to burn 'em. Downsides: you have to order at a counter and they call out your number when its ready. Good system, but unless you know what your doing, it can be tricky. (think soup nazi...
Read moreBar in downtown Moorhead with established lore, mug nights, and more. The food: I can't say, I didn't order any food. The service: Pretty good as far as FM bars go, staff is very knowledgeable and good at getting your drinks to you. They will check your mugs to see if you have any liquor inside them before you leave the place. The atmosphere: Very good. The walls are covered in scribbles, stickers, carvings, banners, neon lights, and so much more. This in conjunction with the beer pong tables and the live music creates an amazing experience. The band (Tailspin) played covers of songs they knew would get the crowd rolling. There are two bars to accommodate big numbers of people. Negatives: The bathroom is claustrophobic. Weird parking situation. Floor becomes a cesspool by closing time. Sometimes attracts...
