Update: 6/24/25 I can’t say enough great things about Juan at Luna Grill. From the very first time we met, he made me feel genuinely welcome—not just as a customer, but as a person. Over time, Juan has become more than just a familiar face at one of my favorite spots—he’s become a true friend.

His kindness, professionalism, and warmth are unmatched. Juan remembers your order, checks in with real sincerity, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. But what really sets him apart is his character—he brings light and positivity to every interaction, and it’s clear that he takes pride in both his work and the relationships he builds with guests.

Original Review: From the moment I walked into Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen, I knew I was in for something special — but what truly made the experience unforgettable was Ashley. She greeted me with such warmth and genuine enthusiasm, I felt like a regular even though it was my first visit.

I asked for a recommendation, and without missing a beat, Ashley suggested the grilled shrimp. Let me just say: I owe her a thank-you card. The shrimp were perfectly seasoned, juicy, with just the right hint of char, and paired beautifully with their fluffy rice and crisp veggies. It was Mediterranean magic on a plate. I would never have thought to try it without her suggestion — and now I can’t stop thinking about it.

The atmosphere was clean, modern, and welcoming. Everything felt fresh — from the ingredients to the attitude of the staff. It’s rare to find a spot where you get both outstanding food and exceptional service, but Luna Grill nails both. Ashley, in particular, made the entire experience feel personal and memorable.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for a late dinner. I ordered the Lunatic Sampler and my boyfriend ordered a plate with koobideh. Ana took our order and Cienna brought our food. At first, she brought my plate, but not my boyfriend's, and she apologized and said they were remaking my boyfriend's plate because the koobideh fell apart. We were amazed! We would have totally taken it as it was because we were hungry, but for a place to insist on remaking an order unprompted is otherworldly customer service. They brought out the koobideh just a few minutes after and, of course, it was delicious! This was our second time here because we LOVE it; it's been a pleasant experience each time. The food is absolutely to die for; beyond flavorful and exceptionally nutritious. We can't wait to keep coming back!

The only reason I give the atmosphere 4 stars, however, is because most of the seats inside are directly under the AC, which is very cold, and it'll cool your food a lot faster than normal. AC is much needed for the season right now, no doubt, but if you don't want it blasting on you, sit in the middle of...

My kids and I had the best experience at Luna Grill Moorpark. The restaurant had a very welcoming staff and the restaurant was well maintained as well as very clean. Juan and Rachel were very hospitable coming to our table to check on us if everything was ok. (We hardly ever get a waiter to that at a full service restaurant nowadays) I appreciate that Rachel mentioned the kids eat free coupon when she saw my kids and that Juan gave a small sample of the Gyro that totally changed my mind about Gyros , I was never a fan of the taste of them at other places but it will be my main order from now on at Luna Grill especially that my family loved it too. Thank you very much Luna Grill moorpark, it’s been a very long time since we ate at a restaurant that gives excellent guest service with Hospitality.
