First off, we went to order a birthday cake online for my boyfriends birthday and they had no option for gift cards. We had a 50 dollar gift card that we wanted to use. Therefore, we couldn’t order it. Okay, whatever. We will just call on Monday when they open. We called on Monday and the girl had a SEVERE attitude problem. She kept mentioning how she can’t take cake orders 1 day beforehand. When we told her that we tried to order it online but there was no option for gift cards, she made the comment “ well I don’t know about that.” Okay well I do, there’s no option. Once again, no big deal. We will just go up tomorrow and get one of the premade ones. When we got there, the guy at the front desk had NO IDEA what was going on. He didn’t even know how to put in gift cards. When we asked them to write on the cake, he couldn’t because the frosting that was used to write on it was “frozen.” When he finally did write on it, it looked awful. There were ice cubes around the cake from it being in the freezer so long, and it was clearly freezer burned the second we tasted it. I forgot to mention, when I went there, there was a lady in front of me who was also having a hard time with her gift cards. She walked out. There was a guy behind me who also walked out because the man behind the register was taking way too long. When he finally did get to me, he told me to “ hang on because I have another customer.” Mind you, that customer just walked in while I was there for at least 20 minutes already. My whole life we got a popular, nationwide ice cream cake for special events. It's always the same flavor layers, no room for customization, and always pricey... freezer burnt often, inside the location not appearing the freshest. BUT COLD STONE MOOSIC WAS SO CLEAN INSIDE! It smelled fresh, was just so presentable too! The lovely woman who waited on me had such an approachable, friendly, down to Earth manner. I was so comfortable there. The customizations for ice cream cakes is mind-blowing! There are flavor combos as in depth as a human personality! The cake had so many flavors, the best we ever had! Nothing tasted repetitive. You choose ice cream flavors, then mid layer spreads, toppings for the top, toppings for the side, baked cake flavors, frosting types like GANACHE (oh I felt so fancy reading that one), and fruits and candy mix ins. The prices are surprisingly reasonable and I swear, my mid sized cake was heavy enough to bicep curl! Clean store, fantastic owners, quality...

Visited on Sunday February 22, 2015. Waited over 30 minutes to be waited on and there were only 3 people in front of us. There were 2 girls working, very slowly. As the line got larger (at least 8 people came in behind us), one girl proceeded to fill/stock supplies rather than wait on customers. There were 4 ppl in our group. 3 of us ordered Signature menu items, to make it easier for the staff as it was clear they were not very capable. 2 of them, we had to tell her what went in it and the other, even after pointing to it on the menu, it didnt even have the correct flavor ice cream in it. The 4th person in our group decided that it wasnt even worth it and didnt get anything. They also have a sign up that they do not accept gift certificates (which I guess included gift cards?) and they are looking for help.
