"Best asian food around"? you should get out more. The food was terrible. Too much salt. Quantity was laughable. Quality was eh. 2/5 just there. The bathroom? Lol dont go. We both had steak and scallops. Steak was over cooked but the scallops were on point even though they sliced them in half. Yeah little half dollar scallops. Forgot my noodles but when I got them. Soaked in soy sauce. Oh. No booze at the sushi bar. Again. No booze at the sushi BAR! It's incredibly obvious they're just pinching pennies. One of the employees had their daughter there for a freaking daycare. I'm pretty sure you guys can find better japanese in this area.

The food way too expensive for the amount and quality i got in the yakisoba dish. It definitely needed more beef. Most of the food was priced too high. The tempura was delicious. Its seems like it could be more authentic. The hostess was a witch. She was very condescending and rude to customers and the wait staff, though very pretty. The place was small and apparently you should make a reservation, unless you want to wait a bit. I have no problem waiting, but the hostess made it into a thing. I watched her roll her eyes at another coworker. Perception is everything. I probably wouldnt return, there are other similar...

I will admit that when I first walked in, i was not blown away. It's small, a bit warm, and not super inspiring. Also, hibachi was off the menu because the cook wasn't in tonight. But, when I tried the sushi, none of that mattered. In fact, it was perfect. The atmosphere probably keeps prices low and keeps the crowds away. And if I had ordered anything but sushi I might have been jealous when sushi arrived. The sushi is AMAZING. Huge rolls, big, juicy slices of fish, and even the ginger tastes fresh. Absolutely stellar work by the three guys behind the counter and great job by management getting them fresh ingredients...
