This was an absolute treat! The atmosphere is wonderful, the service was immaculate and the food..easily the best I’ve had in a long time. Not only is that true, but there is something to be said about every single part of your meal being prepared perfectly. Steak-perfect, shrimp-perfect, salad-perfect, green beans-perfect. You don’t just get that everywhere. My husband and myself chose the ribeye. I chose to add shrimp to mine as well as green beans and salad. My husband added the crab to his and chose collards and salad. He specifically said the collards were perfection as well and he is picky about collards. We had a 6 & 3 year old with us and they split the filet and shrimp skewers with truffle fries & salad. EVERY SINGLE BITE WAS AMAZING. The steak was cooked perfectly, seasoned just right and so incredibly tender. The garlic butter was a wonderful compliment to it all. Their salads are crisp and fresh and we chose the house made ranch, which no surprise was also perfection. My husband and I just kept saying “oh my goodness I’m glad we came here, this is outstanding”. We even tried our girls and it was just as perfectly prepared as ours. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend to you to visit them. There is not one thing about our night we would change at all. We had the pleasure of having Nicole, she was very helpful, was happy to answer our questions, and just was overall a blessing to spend time with and speak to. Food was amazing! Service was a bit lacking. There were only 4 or 5 tables occupied and it took 20-25 minutes to get drinks. We received our appetizer before we received a beer, 2 glasses of wine, and a martini. The staff is very sweet, but they need to be trained on the immediacy of getting clients drinks. Our refills took a while too. However the food was incredible. We visit this area every year and it was one of the best meals that we have had here in Morehead City.
