Smoothie King — Restaurant in Morehead City

if you told me they were entering a competition for how long they can take to make a single smoothie i'd believe you. ykno those sloths from zootopia? it's that. management is in the back and does not give a single duck that their singular employee hasn't made a single smoothie in 30 minutes. feels like they hired someone and then said "alright good luck figuring out what to do".

seriously i was the first person in there and there was a line of 7 people before they even started on my smoothie. my smoothie was already half melted by the time they got it to me. again, it took that long and i was the first person there. there was no one ahead of me.

management, please train your employees before you leave them to man the store alone??? what were you thinking

Went in this past Sunday around 1pm - my first time visiting this location...the cashier was very nice but the two women making the smoothies lacked enthusiasm and speed. They were never working together simultaneously. One would go in the kitchen and the other slowly made smoothies and then that person would head into the bathroom and other would make the smoothies. There was a line ahead of me waiting for theirs to be made while additional orders came in. While this game continued behind the counter (about 10-15 mins or more), I finally asked for a refund. I was never asked why I wanted one or an apology for the unnecessary wait. I won’t be patronizing this location again. I don’t waste my money on ungrateful businesses. The servers at this location should consider a desk job where they don’t interact with customers. They’re not...

This was the worst trip to Smoothie King we have had. The lady working the register this morning walked up to the register whipped out her phone and started texting. She didn't once address us until she was done sending her text. The she proceeded to just look up and look annoyed at us for coming in and making her work all while still not saying a word. We then proceeded to say our order and that's when she finally spoke for the first time and ask what name was on our order. After paying we waited for our drinks to be made. The other girl working there was working so hard we felt bad. The cashier girl washed one dish then proceeded to complain that there was so many dirty dishes and that she only had 4 hours of sleep. If that is the new standard for this shop I will gladly drive to the Jacksonville location to get my smoothies...
