The Galley — Restaurant in Morgan City

My mom and I went here 6/26/23. We waited forever. When the food finally came, my fries weren't hot like fresh fries should be. My mom's hash browns were cold. The only thing hot was the omelet. It was like they made the fries, burger, and hash brown and then let them sit before they made the omelet. My mom told the waitress, who was nice, and she brought her a hot fresh hash brown. But there were some elderly ppl who came in after us and they got food before we got ours. There were some other ppl who came in when we did and they got their food before us, too. We only had two meals. I don't think a burger, fries, a hash brown, and an omelet are so hard that they would take longer than the orders of the seven other ppl who came in when or after we did. If you have a legit service dog, expect trouble. I was asked multiple times to show an ADA card to prove my service dogs training. Illegal to ask me and does not even exist. There are NO such things as cards, registrations, certifications. Every website those are sold are scams and mean nothing and prove nothing. Despite telling him the 2 questions he is legally allowed to ask, he kept asking multiple other illegal questions. Given me an attitude. Claimed he knew the ADA law where clearly he doesn’t after what he did based on what he did and asked for during this encounter. He acted like he was doing us a favor by allowing us to stay but told us next time I need that no. Existent “proof”. When the proof he was asking for doesn’t exist and proves nothing! I give 1 only on the service I received from take out cashier everything else was wonderful.I go once sometimes twice a week to enjoy the friendly staff,delicious food and the new poker machines they recently added. But today when I returned home with take out the order was wrong as was the order the visit before. No big deal just called to let them know so next time they would be more careful. The young lady was rude non apologetic told me I had to return with the food so I did. Then had the audacity to say that I never told her I wanted it the way I always ordered it.... Everybody makes mistakes but to lie and say I never told her how I wanted my order and then argued with me about is completely unacceptable.
