Thier waitlist system is disorganized and they ask for information they do not use. They had us write our phone number but did not bother tonactually contact us that the table was ready. When we went back, they had seated multiple parties that had gotten there after us and had crossed out our name. The food was ok, but quite expensive for what I got. Maybe a little bland, but decent. The quality was definitely not consistent with the price, though. Service was horrible, the waitress was unfriendly and unwelcoming. When I asked for water or food that they forgot to bring me, the waitress tossed it on the table. I also had to ask multiple times for the staff to bring the food items that they had forgotten. I really wanted to like this restaurant because it was recommended by a good friend, but it was not at all up to par with what she had described. From the very first visit, the restaurant pleasantly surprised me — they served a delicious miso soup as a complimentary dish from the chef.

This is what happens when you try to feed the demographic groups of Americans(caucasians) and hispanics. Sorry had to say it. The food is so so.Service is great though. Very nice people. I had the ramen. Boy, are they miles behind what's up north in San jose, literally and figuratively in terms of quality in both the noodles and broth. Its the Karage, if I'm even spelling it right, was a wash. But i'll tell you what, their food(Japanese) is better than most places in thag area.
