This has got to be the biggest joke of a fast food restaurant I've ever been to. Literally I mean.....Ever.
It was 3:30am, and I needed to be on the road for a trip at the absolute latest of 4:15am. I decided to go with "fast food" since it would help save some time.
First of all, I pulled up to the Drive-Through and the first thing I see is a sign that says "You are now entering the 60 seconds or less zone. 60 seconds GUARANTEED." Wow......just wow. That couldn't be further from the truth, as it took me nearly 15 minutes just to place my order.
Next on the list, they didn't even bother to change their menus from dinner to breakfast. So when I ordered 4 snack wraps, the man over the speaker simply said "sorry sir, we are not serving dinner, only breakfast." I decided to go with pancakes and a hash-brown, a pretty simple order.
25 miserable minutes later I pulled up to the first window to pay for my food. Due to cars getting tired of waiting, and pulling out of the line, the man at the window forgot what I ordered. I had to repeat my order a second time, and then asked him if there was a discount for waiting nearly an hour in the drive through. He said he would ask his manager. Unfortunately, I did not receive such a discount, and had to pay full price. After paying, I turned around to look at the man in the window, only to realize he had something in his hand, what appeared to be an Ipod or a device similar. Good to know he's being nice and productive.
Finally, 10 extremely long minutes later, I pulled up to the second window to pick up my food. A girl greeted me, again, who was confused because of so many cars leaving, so I had to repeat my order a third time. After doing so, I received my food a few more minutes later.
I opened up my bag only to realize that the pancakes were extremely cold and almost stale, and the hash brown was nowhere near hot. They also forgot to give me butter for my pancakes (not a big deal, but it just shows how bad their level of service is.)
Also, I must note that the girl who handed me the food had a broken arm, and yet their were only three employees in the restaurant. A manager, the girl with a broken arm, and the drive-through kid. I would love to meet the general manager of that place as well as the person who does the scheduling and hiring. Newsflash.....Hire more people!
So that is what this McDonalds has been reduced to: Guaranteeing 60 seconds or less when in reality, it was damn near 60 MINUTES. Not changing the menus around so you're confused as hell when you order. Having to repeat your order 3 times because of their anemic pathetic service. Having only 3 employees in the restaurant, one of which is injured and one who is standing around doing nothing. And last but not least, receiving the most disgusting, luke warm food (almost cold) i've ever eaten at any Restaurant. I will definitely go to Eat'n Park next time, since I literally could have been in and out of there in probably 20-30 minutes and had good quality fresh rather than some "sat out for 20-30 minutes and is now extremely cold" food
Bottom Line is this.....DO NOT GO TO THAT...
Read moreWent to this location in the early evening for a large Coke with extra ice, I got a large Diet Coke and it did not have extra ice. When I asked for extra eyes the young man in the window started to give me a small cup of ice when I told him I drink was diet and I ordered regular he then filled the small cup with regular Coke and tried to give it to me I told him I ordered a large Coke with extra ice, he immediately got an attitude and started mumbling under his breath and he handed me a large Coke with extra ice but it was Dripping and I mean dripping with Coke all over and I asked for a napkin and of course he gave me an attitude I then asked to speak to a manager and the manager came up and as I was explaining to her what was going on the young man that's served me my drink mumbled under his breath and said well then you shouldn't have came here and I said excuse me what did you just say to me and the manager was standing behind him and she immediately started yelling at me telling me not to speak to her employee that way. I asked her if she heard what her employee said to me and she said yes as she continued to tell me to stop yelling at her employee, I can assure you I was not yelling at the young man because if I were everybody in the line behind me would have known it. I asked her if she was going to allow her employee to speak to me that way and she just avoided my question continuing to tell me to stop yelling at her employee! She then told me not to come back to that McDonald's. I was very upset I visit this location at least two to four times a day since I'm an Uber driver and I have customers that asked me to stop at this particular McDonald's and I have always accommodated my customer. Day shift at this McDonald's is excellent very polite never had any issues. I would recommend not going there in the evening. I don't know what the problem is why I can never get a drink with extra ice from this location in the evening without it being an issue. I feel like I ordered one thing and one thing only and they can't even get it right and then they want to make a big deal out of it when I ask for extra ice...
Read moreI am new to little city of Morgantown, for the most part of this town seems to be very friendly and upbeat. But today I was having a horrible day so I’ll stop at McDonald’s to get a water cup. She wants to charge me $.64. Oh that’s crazy but that’s fine so I’ll pay it so I asked for a large cup so I can have a large cup of ice so the little girl is going to give me a large cup. Well I guess it was the manager yoked that large cup from that girl and I said That cup cost $1.64 and she only paid $.67. She cannot have the large cup for ice. Now mind you, this lady gave me no option to pay the difference. any other time I go in this McDonald’s and I’m having a bad day I get perked up somehow because most of these people that work there are upbeat and really seems to enjoy their job and this lady seems to dominate the floor whenever she’s there and I’ll promise you it looks like a group of miserable people. Didn’t catch your name if I did I wouldn’t post it, but it is the McDonald’s on university and I will be going to talk to her boss on Monday because the fact is you never know what somebody’s going through that you can send someone over the edge encounter like I had...
