Central Taqueria is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The homemade tortillas are a game-changer – absolutely perfect in every way.
I had the pleasure of trying their cochinita, pollo, al pastor, and birria tacos, and each one was bursting with flavor. And let's talk about their deals, especially Taco Tuesday – it's a steal! I even got to enjoy an agua fresca alongside my four delicious tacos.
Oh, and don't get me started on their churros – just the right amount of sweetness, making them literally perfect.
What really sets Central Taqueria apart, though, is the warmth and friendliness of the owner and staff. They made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in.
I'm already planning my return visit tomorrow – where I will be trying their torta! Thank you, Central Taqueria, for an unforgettable taco experience. Best i have had in east coast (coming from a...
Read moreWhen Central first opened in Morristown I remember being blown away by the quality of the food. Even then, they didn't give huge servings, but it was enough to satisfy, and the quality carried it over the finish line. However, I feel as if over time the quality and portion size has decreased. For lunch I paid $11 for chips/guac and $18 for 3 birria tacos and consome. Both were tiny, the meat in the taco was dry, the tortilla fell apart the second I picked it up so I couldn't even dip it in the consome. By the time I finished lunch, I had spent over $30 and was still hungry. Something needs to change, either the serving size or the quality needs to be increased. By no means do I not like Central, if someone came over to my place and offered me it, I'd be happy, however I would not seek it out. There are many other places in Morristown that offer much more affordable Mexican food at the same, or even...
Read moreAMAZING!, Authentic!!!, this is how a taqueria is supposed to be. The Tacos are the star of the show, the classic al Pastor is like taking a bite of Mexico City!!, the salsas variety from the mild green to the super hot habanero in a very smart squeezable container give the tacos that extra kick of flavor you want. Then there is the "cochinita pibil" taco, a specialty from the Southeast of the country with the indispensable purple pickled onions that is to die for!. and then you can have a veggie option with crispy cheese that I am sure is going to be a crowd favorite. You add the tasty "aguas frescas", and the corn "esquites" , All this brought to you by a staff that wants to go the extra mile, and you get a sure winner. And the best part is these guys plan to open LATE for that hungry after hours bar crowd from Morristown.
My new favorite spot,...
