My co-worker order food from here so I decided to try this place so I got a hamburger with Swiss cheese and well done, It was still red in the middle and the cheese was missing so I said maybe it’s a rush and mistakes happen. My co-worker wanted to order again so I order again as well I specifically told them no pork because I’m allergic, well guess what? They gave me pork I brought it to the restaurant attention the host lady said “no it’s turkey it’s not pork”. So I brought it back in person so, it’s the lady(host) and the owner I’m telling them I’m allergic to pork I’m having an allergic reaction my throat is closing up the owner was so rude and nasty telling me I’m not having a flare up, yelling at me saying “ it’s turkey not pork!” He wouldn’t listen to me he didn’t do anything to resolve the problem I always tip the lady and spend more than $20 at this business. I had to leave work early(losing money) and go to the ER. I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS DINER AT ALL THE OWNER IS NASTY AND RUDE AND RACIST TOWARDS AFRICAN AMERICANS! I noticed they were racist when I picked me and my co-worker food up the second time we ordered. I will never come here again! I’m definitely taking the food to get tested and sue he think I’m not going to do so someone could lose their life because of their error then to be rude about it it’s so disgusting.

I visited the Morristown Diner on Saturday, December 2nd, 2024, at around 11:30 for Brunch. I ordered a coffee and a signature omelet, which cost around 18 before tipping. The diner is in a very accessible location and had a big parking lot so finding parking was easy even though it was busy. Once I entered, I was immediately greeted by a friendly waitress called Emily. Emily sat us down at a table. Since it was my first time at that diner, I asked Emily what are some recommendations and she recommended me the "garden state omelet". Since I just came from the gym, the omelet was perfect as it was packed with healthy vegetables and protein from the egg. I waited for about 15 minutes before I was served my food. During this time I took a look around the diner and it was very clean with a class diner decor. There were chrome accents, bright red booths, and a retro vibe. There were gluten-free items at the diner as well as vegetarian dishes. There were no student discounts but the portion sizes were very good for the price. Overall, I had a really good experience. The atmosphere was very nostalgic of the "Diner Reimagined". The food was flavorful with very good portion sizes. I look forward to returning.

No clue how this place got above 3 stars. Simple, nothing special and although the menu has MANY items with multiple pages, the food was below average and the only thing that might give extra points is customer service. The service was good and fast, but nothing to rave about and definitely not anything special. I asked for napkins and cutlery and got eye rolls. I'm sorry but I didn't know it was rude to ask for something I'm paying for. With that said, I should mention, every item you take anything to go, it gets you a nice little charge for packaging and they are stingy on extras like napkins, cutlery, sauces, etc. I actually was made to feel bad for asking for it, even though they literally showed on my receipt that it was charged with every order. So if you order 3 meals, you get 3 separate TO GO CHARGES on your 1 bill. We were told burgers were their specialty but honestly, all this food is frozen and pre-packed from "Restaurant Depot," and I'd be second guessing myself, if I believed they had anything homemade. We tried a sandwich, a chicken meal and a burger combo and the orders were blah/gross. We got to the hotel and realized the fries were beyond soggy and just wet (bun too). The chicken was burnt and flavorless. The whole dish needed salt, pepper and just any kind of seasoning would have been nice. Pasta was so bland and unsalted, equally disappointing. Burger wasn't fresh, just frozen and cheese was just a sloppy melted mess. Which usually you would think sounds good but just overall a very bad experience with their quality there. Yikes! I'd rate this place a 2, if that! The one star is that they had free parking and the second star is that they were clean and the place was well lit. Food didn't meet any basic expectation because we had stomach aches hours later and the hotel was only a few minutes from the restaurant so it wasn't because of how long it took us to eat it.

Sadly, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, even though they accept credit cards and offer free parking. They are also open 24/7 which would be convenient if they were serving great food but this was barely edible and cheap quality. I say that because we were in town very late and this was really the only option so late at night so we were starving and had little to no other options around. It helps when you're starving to actually like food more but this was a definite bust! Who wants burnt and un-sauced chicken with pasta that lacks salt? ... Never...

I actually like the food here. It can get very busy on weekend nights because all the bars start closing around midnight to 2. Some things may not be on the menu if you've had it before but they can make it anyway. The waitresses are nice people so please be respectful. May be loud at times because of all the group of people going there to eat after bars close. Leave a tip, they are working late at night and working hard, and also putting up with a lot of drunk people. Be respectful. The bathrooms are pretty small. I don't think they have paper towels, only a blow dryer, at least in men's, last I remember. I could be wrong. Food time is decent, not too long and not to fast, decent amount of time. Depends how many people are working too. It is open 24/7 so you can go anytime you want. I find mornings the best for breakfast with the bacon, egg, cheese bagels. Eggs are good too. There are plenty of seats and tables so don't mind going with a big group. Relaxing place. Don't mind the drunken people, leave them alone of they are loud, seen a few incidents of arguments but never anything severe. Weekdays are great to go all around. Parking may be an issue because it is a small parking lot but you can park across the street and cross the road from there....
