UPDATE: Pomodoro is the only restaurant Patrick & I have eaten at since COVID-19. Tonight, Ory & Antonella gave us this cool blanket as a gift. It has their name and Morristown Strong on it. It’s so warm too. Perfect for outdoor eating as it gets colder. We love this place and their food.

We went back to Pomodoro tonight. July, 2020. Since we’re still in lockdown and cannot eat inside - they have a very big tent set up in back with not only tables but they have a TV set up with the Yankee game on & the liquor store is literally right there. You can meet up with friends watch a game, & have some great food.

ANTEA was our waitress and never forgot about us. The food was exactly as we asked for it and it was delicious. Best Italian sauce in the state. Antonella & Ori are always checking on things to make sure everyone is happy. I can honestly say- we’ve NEVER had a bad meal here. You can’t go wrong & they have a full menu. I posted pictures of our meal. It was AMAZING.

We had Father’s Day dinner Saturday night, so on Sunday we wanted something simple and not a fixed menu. We went up to Morristown center and went into Pomodoro Pizza. We had a very friendly waiter, his name was Dave and he was very pleasant & knowledgeable on the menu. We had sausage & peppers dinner along with ziti & a house salad each. The dinner was made fresh and so was the pasta, cooked exactly how we asked for it. The salad was fresh with a pleasant mix of greens, cucumbers, olives, onions and tomatoes. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the pasta sauce, it was AMAZING!!! A must try very casual atmosphere. You can sit in pizzeria or in the back dining room. Parking on the street or in the back lot.

Went back again tonight 6/30/18 and had a fabulous meal once again.

Oh, one more thing, the bread is made from the pizza dough and it’s addicting. We had a really great meal with everything exactly as we ordered. 5 stars for Pomodoro Pizza....

I found this spot to get lunch and called ahead my orders. I called in for myself the pasta Primavera with no dairy. I called about an hour ahead and told the nice man what time I would be there. When I arrived I parked in the lot in the back. I walked in assuming everything would be ready. The nice man greeted me by name and the 2 other meals were done but not mine. I waited about 10 minutes and asked when it would be done. He said they made a mistake and put cream in the Primavera so they had to redo it. I was running late for ny client at this point and the man apologized and told me to grab a drink on the house and I did. The 3 meals I ordered came to about $62, a little pricey but hey. When my food was finally done after about 15 minutes I jetted out. When I ate my food I will say the Primavera was very good. It was flavored well and there was plenty. I was ready to give 3 stars for the long wait and me getting to my client late but everything else pushed it...

Absolutely love this place. This was our second time ordering from here but our first time getting pizza. Their pasta entrees are phenomenal. We’ve had the Chicken Parm, Chicken Frances’s, Chicken Milanese & this last time we got a thin grandma pie with vodka sauce. For dessert we also had slices of their triple chocolate cake and pumpkin cheesecake. Everything was fresh, delicious and totally worth the calories. Personally I wish some of the cutlets we got were slightly thinner. But at approximately 1.5cm at the thickest, they aren’t actually thick by any means. Additionally I could tell the mozz was fresh af which was nice and the buttery crust had a great flavor that I kinda crave while writing this. The desserts were unexpected standouts, the chocolate cake was prob the best we’ve had in the area and the cheesecake was super light and creamy with solid pumpkin flavor....
