Dissapointing - my most favorite sauce ever is Ttzatziki. First ordered the pumpkin turnovers which were supposed to be baked and would´ve been great if they weren´t so greasy. They gave us a small bowl of Tzatziki on side. That tasted pretty good. Main course was chicken gyro. It came out and the chicken was cut up in small cubes??? My husband got the lamb gyro- also cut in small squares. I always order all my sauces and dressings on the side. Waitress brought the Tzatziki sauce in what looked like a transparent ketchup squeezable bottle. So I added it to the gyro. I am half way done with my dinner and I noticed it really didn´t have much flavor. Realized I was adding more of this white sauce to my gyro :( When I was done with it, it dawned on me that this so called tzatziki sauce was mostly, if not ALL mayonnaise -- Yuck! Then I remembered that in the menu, it did say a side of mayo and tzatziki sauce. So I asked the waitress. Of course she didn´t know because it was her 4th day there. So she got the other waitress because she had been there for yrs (didn´t this place just open?). I ask her and she tells me all the ingredients in the tzatziki sauce and proceeds to say, the chef mixes it with a little MAYO - I knew it!!!! I have never heard of anyone ever mixing the two. I despise mayo. To add to the madness, we ordered the baklava. That my friends, was also very dissapointig. Honey wasn´t even sticky because it was diluted so much with water. Service was strange - r waitress was young and inexperienced. Should´ve realized that since the place was empty on a Sat evening, this was a sign. I didn´t have the heart to tell the waitress or other waitress, my feelings, which normally I would have no problem. Maybe i was shocked?? Long and short, save your money and look for an authentic place. Only good thing was the olive oil with real olives floating in it and the cold pita that accompanied it. Sorry owner, but I tried to like it. By the time I was in my car, I had the worst...
Read moreI had a very bad experience with this restaurant which is unfortunately since thus far, their food was pretty good. However in terms of customer service, they really don't care how they treat human beings. I called two days ago to put an order for an event taking place four days later. I was told by Lindsey to call Friday in the evening which is 48 hours in advance. I called at 5pm, was told they're busy and will call me right back (no specific time was given, assumed it would be a few min wait). Over an hour later, my husband calls asking to place the order again, and again was told she would call back this time she said "I'll call you back around 7:30". Not understanding why she couldn't just take my order and write it down quickly, I was given a bunch of lame excuses and told "I can't write down the order". I told her she specifically said to call back Friday evening (which I did) and couldn't understand why I'm being given the run around. She says "you have two options, either wait for me to call back or go with another restaurant". When I reiterated that she herself told me to call back 48 hours prior, she angrily says "I UNDERSTAND that, but I can't take your order". Flabbergasted, I asked to speak to the manager and was given the typical "I am the manager" and then she says "you know what? You're not ordering here" and hangs up on me . This literally happened a few minutes ago. For the rudeness factor and inability to take an order as well as manage a restaurant (definition of poor management skills), I'm glad Lindsey was able to open my eyes to their complete disregard for customers. I hope this review prompts people to think twice before going to the restaurant (also, Lindsey the manager - the woman whom I've seen before - always messes up my order. Have received refunds for missing orders...
Read moreThe owner and his server are nasty pieces of work. I was eating there on a consistent basis The food is good just not consistently good. If you order the EXACT same dish 3 weeks in a row, you will get it 3 different ways. When I provided feedback the owner would offer a free soda or 20% discount. Two weeks ago I ordered my go to burger (Chatham), it was absolutely raw. When I called to complain the entire situation went sideways. The OWNER told me multiple times never to come back, mentioned several times I should be in Graystone. I called that phone all night demanding a refund for the ONE burger and the owner called the police to the store. I don't intimidate easily. 3 days later her called and told me to come for my refund, he refused to return it to my card. This all started because he left the onion rings off of my sister's order and he thought I was trying to get free food. He had the wrong sister and refused to regroup and professionally take care of situation. From the postings here, I now realize that when I placed my order, I was placed on hold so long I would hang up and call back -- now I recognize it was punishment. Only God knows what they did to my burgers in addition to serving it raw. If you go be sure not to make them mad and whatever you do, don't...
