My journey with Blo of Morristown began with optimism and support for a new local business. As an initial supporter and customer since their opening, I embraced their services wholeheartedly, intrigued by a membership plan that promised value without the worry of expiration dates. This was a pivotal reason I joined, especially as they were keen to build their client base.
Fast forward to today, and my experience has soured to the point of disbelief. I am writing this review with a heavy heart, as I've been compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience with a salon I once advocated for. Despite purchasing a membership plan that explicitly stated no expiration on services, I find myself in a bewildering scenario where 7 prepaid blow-outs are suddenly void and unrecognized by the salon's management.
The management's refusal to honor these services, despite their initial commitment, speaks volumes about their shift in business ethics and customer care. This abrupt change in policy, coupled with a stark lack of communication, has not only left me feeling disregarded as a customer but also raises questions about the integrity of their business practices.
Attempting to resolve this issue has been a study in frustration. The indirect communication and unfulfilled promises from the management team have highlighted a disheartening shift from customer appreciation to what appears to be a profit-first mentality. This departure from the values that once drew me to their doors is both shocking and disheartening.
This experience is a reminder that businesses should honor their commitments and value the loyalty of their customers. Transparency, respect, and integrity are the foundations upon which customer trust is built and maintained. Unfortunately, Blo of Morristown has significantly deviated from these principles, leading me to withdraw my patronage and reconsider the positive reviews I once enthusiastically shared.

I think the staff is really nice and I was really trying to like it but I cannot be paying for a service and then not receive the service. The first time I went, I left with legitimate wet hair (all my roots) and no styling like I wanted. The owner suggested I book extra time, which of course costs extra money. I went back a second time and it was okay, no styling but I just wanted a blow out that time. Most recently, I booked for extended time, knowing I have long hair and wanted just a little bit of styling. I arrived 10+ min early and unfortunately the appointment started 5 min late. With about 5 minutes left in the scheduled time (what should have been 10 min left of me in chair) - the stylist stated that unfortunately there is no time to style/curl my hair. So now, again, I have paid for a service and not received what we fully agreed upon. I’m just in shock that they don’t finish the task? I paid for extra time, what else can I do? maybe they need to have a floating stylist so mine could finish and the other person start the next appt? Set better expectations? I searched for a place to go, same day, on a Saturday during a holiday weekend and was thrilled to get an appointment at Blo Blow Dry Bar. My stylist was AnnaMarie and I truly cannot say enough great things about her. We did a brief consultation and I showed her a few picture of my dress and we were on the same page about what style to do. The most important thing is that I had SO much fun getting my hair done because of AnnaMarie. The second most important thing is that she did the most amazing job and my hair looked so good and lasted all night (and even into the next day -- my hair looked incredible on. my train ride out of town). We had such a great time chatting, she truly felt like a long-lost friend I hadn't seen in ages and she styled my hair to perfection. I walked out of there feeling like a million bucks.
