NC Bagel Cafe' & Deli — Restaurant in Morrisville

I had a very disappointing experience at your store this morning. I ordered a bagel with strawberry cream cheese, but received a plain cream cheese bagel instead. I didn’t realize the mistake until I had taken a few bites. I returned to the store hoping to get the correct order and give the team a chance to fix the issue.

Unfortunately, the person at the front counter was extremely rude. When I explained the mistake, she asked if it was okay to just give me a side of strawberry cream cheese, which was not an appropriate solution. I asked for it to be remade properly in a bagel. She responded that she could only give me half a bagel since I had taken a few bites from the original one.

I handed back the remaining portion of the incorrect bagel and asked for the correct one. She threw the bagel forcefully into the trash in an insulting way and told me to return after 15 minutes since they are making jalapeño cheddar bagel ( as in my order). When I came back, I was told there is no jalapeño cheddar bagels were available and that they would just issue a refund instead. This is total waste of my time.

The entire interaction was unpleasant and unprofessional. I’m very disappointed with the way this was handled and hope management will address this issue...

Not fresh. Limited selection even relatively early (8:30) in the morning. The garlic and onion on my everything bagel was black before toasting. The size was smaller than other places. It was hard all the way through. It hurt my mouth trying to chew through it. At other NY bagel places in the area ,the outside has a nice crunch and soft and chewy on the inside. Was grocery store quality at double the price. I was expecting it to be the same as the other NY bagel places around but it wasn't. Disappointed. Service was ok, the staff was not overly friendly. I stood at the counter for a while without any greeting and I was just silently handed the bag with my bagel. I really hope they can step up the freshness and hospitality. Cheering for a...

Picked up after ordering online and was super disappointed because my bagel was a Kaiser roll. On the online order it has a spot for both a bagel and a bun. I selected the bagel then continued down the prompt and saw it was for bun. When I realized I hit “select one” to make sure I only got a bagel and it still defaulted, so they gave me a Kaiser bun. Who comes to a bagel shop for a Kaiser bun sandwich?!?

Please change this prompt for online ordering as it will lead to lots of confusion and frustration on the egg/cheese/meat option.

Also, would’ve liked a little more scallion in the cream cheese and cream cheese applied a little more liberally. Overall decent and I would give it another shot to redeem...
