The Guest House Restaurant — Restaurant in Moundsville

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries. Burger was served with one side completely burnt and charred black. Upon showing this to my waitress, she simply tells me, "We have a new cook, I'll let him know". A solid five minutes after she leaves my table and I finish my burnt, disgusting burger since no one came back to my table, a cook comes out from the kitchen and asks to see my burger. Told her I had finished eating it. At this point in time I had finished my fries as well; my plate was empty and pushed to the side. I waited another five minutes for my waitress to bring my check (hopefully with some sort of discount), but she never reappeared. Feeling pretty salty about my $10 burger that sucked and lackluster service, I threw $15 on the table and was walking out when I finally spotted my waitress, who was sitting down at a table with her face buried in her phone. Definitely won't ever go back and do not recommend going there. Completely disappointed! Worth noting there was only three tables with customers. Me, a lone ranger, a two top and a three top. Apparently us six customers, which came in staggered, was enough to put this crew...

Just stopped in for a bite and a beer. It was really good, and pretty inexpensive. I got a fish sandwich, which came with fries, and ordered a 22 ounce local craft beer to wash it all down. $6.75 for the sandwich and $4.75 for the beer, pretty reasonable prices I'd say. The fish sandwich was pretty tasty, it was cod. If you go into the lounge just be aware that smoking is allowed. It doesn't really bother me but I figured I'd mention it because I'm from Colorado and there really isn't any bar or restaurant that allows you to smoke inside...

This place in front of Kroger grocery has robbed me for thousands of dollars keep in mind it was my own free will to go in there and Gamble but the same God that we found it our country on is the same God that shuns gambling. I just pray they outlawed video poker everywhere except casinos. If you have the willpower to stay out of a casino that's good enough for me but if you can't go one mile down the road without running into a poker machine the people playing the machines don't have a problem the f** State putting them everywhere...
