Great Chinese Buffet — Restaurant in Moundsville

Food was cold. The store bought french dressing was absolutely pathetic. How hard is it to buy good french dressing? For these people pretty freaking hard. The waitress came by after I had pushed my plates to the side still full. I explained it was cold and the dressing was no where near french. We don't eat the dressing and of course I was the only one that had complained, is what she'd replied. I'd say I was the only one complaining because every one ate what was hot and definitely had not tried the French dressing. This place is a disgrace to Chinese establishments all over the world. After waiting for 10 minutes for fresh food to be brought out I went to get some more of whatever had steam coming from it. At this point I needed a refill so I took my straw and placed it on the end of the table. She was behind me talking to the old couple who had just taken a seat. For what ever reason she proceeded to walk right by with out asking me anything. It's a shame that she wasn't born in China, where she would've been killed moments after entering the world. Anyways this is my second day in this lovely town and my first terrible experience. If you do decide to come here I suggest that you walk to the bins of food sitting under the lights and check it out before you get a plate and are charged 10.40 for left overs. Well going to see what my fortune cooking says so I can leave this dreadful place. Never again will I treat my self like that. Honestly that was the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I used to wait tables for a living so I know how it goes. She was a pissy little disgrace to all that have ever tied an apron around their waste, oh wait she didn't even do that just brought me a spoon, fork and my dew. I had to get up and get my own refill. Such a disappointment to have that worthless untasteful abomination in this wonderfully...

Went here 2 times in the past 30 days. The food is ok but I mainly went for the sunday all you can eat crab legs. They were skimpy on those. It was like pulling teeth to get crab legs out of them. My family all loves crab so we had 2 wait for long periods in between to get more. The main buffet was pretty good. Your basic chinese, I have had better.

The worst part of the entire dining experience was the staff. RUDE and RUDEST is what I nicknamed the main 2 girls that were working. The one girl practically rolled her eyes when I asked if we could have refills on our drinks and when we asked if they were putting out anymore crab she basically yelled at us and this was the first time. The second time (I know but the kids wanted to go) they were slow at adding the crab to the buffet and it was waterlogged when they did bring it out. When I paid I forgot my debit card because of the distraction by my son and I called my bank 1st thing in the morning so they could block it from use, I asked the lady at my bank to be sure I had only one last charge, because that was the last place i used the card, and besides my original charge of $42.00 they ran it AGAIN for $15.00. Well she denied the charge and blocked the card. I called first thing in the morning to go get it and the "RUDE" girl said they had it, when I went to pick it up the "RUDEST" girl said they didn't! I said YES I just called and the other girl said its there so go get her. Well a guy went back and she told him where it was and I presented my ID to retrieve it. Needless to say we wont be...

My name is Bill N. I used to live in moundsville, by the grace of God I am out. G.C. Buffet was and is my favorite. Chinese food restaurant. I now live an hour away and still travel there to eat. Always good food always great service. I saw a pic and statement from a guy who said he found a caterpillar in his food. Have you ever seen a caterpillar in January????? Me either. I don't see fresh vegetables on the plate. Everything on that plate was cooked and or boiled. The cooking process would have disintegrated the worm. Call it what it is... A free meal. He put that there I'll bet. Anyway, I love the people, service and food of GREAT...
