If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Mount Dora, Florida, Jeremiah's Restaurant is the perfect place for you! This restaurant serves as an oasis of culinary delight for both locals and tourists, particularly those returning from a day of boating.
The menu is teeming with an array of delicious offerings, with the standout being their mouth-watering hamburgers. They're served up so quickly you'll barely have time to finish your drink before they're in front of you. The California grilled chicken salad and the fish basket also caught our attention - both meals were delicious and generously portioned, proving they don't skimp on quality or quantity.
The ambience of Jeremiah's is noteworthy, with a spacious outdoor seating area that provides a charming dining experience. The establishment is impressive in size, with multiple dining rooms, two bars, and plenty of seating. We had a lovely time at the bar in the back.
As for the staff, they deserve a standing ovation! Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. The place offers ample parking in the front and back, making it a convenient dining spot. Situated at 5th & Highland, it's an excellent detour from the downtown hustle.
A special shout-out to the Ribs n Mushroom soup, and the Chicken Parm, both of which left a memorable taste.
There is a small caveat, however. Jeremiah's has a dress code policy, and gym clothing isn't allowed. While I found out the hard way, it's a small price to pay for the gastronomic adventure this place offers. If leaving the gym to go eat after, take a change of clothing, no gym clothing.
If you're in Mount Dora, Jeremiah's Restaurant is an experience you should not miss. Can't believe we've lived in the area for almost 25 years and just discovered this gem! We'll definitely be back and look forward to seeing Wayne again.
Thank you, Jeremiah's for an amazing dining experience! Here's to many more visits...
Read moreJeremiah's is a great place if you're not sure what you want to eat. They have a big variety of different food options on their menu. Burgers, seafood, Mexican, chicken, salads. We sat in the big open space around the bar. All 5 big garage doors were open so we felt the nice breeze but still protected from the unexpected rain. Fun atmosphere. Mostly locals come here on Tuesday nights. We had scallops, fried shrimp, baked and sweet potatoes. All were good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. We had their happy hour 2 for 1 drinks, lime margaritas and vanilla porter beer. The reasons for my 4 star rating instead of 5 are a few issues, which we forgive. The bartender (it's a full bar) couldn't make me a sweet (brandy and cherries) Old-fashioned cocktail because they didn't have Angostura aromatic bitters available for the drink. Also, we had to wait a little too long to be seated, but we had to wait for waiter assignments. My husband received a baked potato instead of mashed. The menu is somewhat different from their website, as I was wanting to order pecan trout, which they serve only occasionally. Otherwise, we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in town. I recommend it despite our few minor issues, and we plan to...
Read moreMy wife and I take our son to Jeremiah’s Italian Ice all the time. This 5 ⭐️ review is long overdue. Two days ago I went with my son to J’s Ice and honestly, it was amazing! The flavors are always super fresh and bold despite my son only getting vanilla every single time. It’s always good, the texture is always smooth and perfect, not icy or too soft. The staff are always friendly and welcoming too, which makes the whole experience even better customer satisfaction is everything. 😁 I want to salute Mily her customer service was immaculate she went out her way to make sure I had wet wipes for my son even though I didn’t ask for it and she made sure that we were well taken care of. Jendalyn on the other hand, despite the downtime she had after a rush. Instead of relaxing she came out on the floor and wiped down all the tables to make sure all was clean for the next guest. J’s Ice is definitely my go-to spot for a sweet treat for my son on a hot 🥵 or cold 🥶 day. Highly recommend checking it out!
If you just moved to the area. There’s no way you can miss it. It is located in the same plaza as Tropical Smoothie and it is in between Foxtail Coffee and Orange theory. If you are coming from 441 headed north after you make a right on FL-44 it will be your...
