Mount Dora Historic District — Attraction in Mount Dora

Parking is terrible, very limited for the amount of people that visit there! Drove around for 45 mins checking every lot and all the streets. Finally found one! Get there early!! Don't eat at the Thai restaurant! The menu days that the lunch specials are supposed to come with soup. The waitress never brought it. When we asked her about it, she said "you have to ask for it"!! So we did, it was hot water poured over a few little cubes of tofu, a few shredded carrot pieces, chopped garlic and a couple if bean sprouts!! ARE...

Walking back in time! Casual strolls to each shop and enjoying the different food and drink choices, what more is there to love about a quaint, southern town! Unfortunately, we wanted to shop on a Sunday morning and nothing much was open until noon and we had to bug out! That is my excuse to come back again! We would definitely stay as close to Mount Dora Historic District...

I loved Mount Dora! Who knew so many fantastic food places and shops and museums could be found in such a small area! I look forward to visiting again for the Festival of Lights.
