Today was my first visit to Mt laurel Ammas branch and I was thoroughly disappointed! I think I had a lot of expectations because I regularly order from Ammas at Mapleshade and Voorhees and they are the best in the town. I did not do a full buffet dining today .I just took the appetizers carry out (per pound) and I have to say that nothing tasted like the usual ammas...Fish had a foul odour..chicken had a strong poultry after taste....I had ordered some ala carte and that was not like the usual too..Kothu parota was soggy ..Briyani was taken from the buffet I believe and hence did not taste special as it would be if it was ordered in Voorhees (which doesnthave buffet)...Worst being the AMMAS SPL chicken 65..I was so disappointed because thats Ammas Signature dish which is so good usually whenI order from voorhees branch...It was soggy as well and had coconut and what not..Totally OFf....Sorry to say ...You disappointed us! Its possible that these are expected when you start new but I wanted to give a honest feedback for correction ..The place where you have started is perfect - bestlocation...So please try taking the comments in the right way and fix them! I will not be going this place again.....we went there one Friday for dinner. The place wasn't packed. However, they took almost 55 mins to bring a curry and few rotis. Here is why....there was a Punjabi couple with 3 kids....they were taking videos of every damn dish for tik-tok, face book or whatever platform they use to post their videos and photos!!! Numerous other guests were waiting to order, some to recieve their order for ever....BUT, the waiters were bringing numerous dishes, variety of drinks, appetizers, puris, rotis etc. continuously to this tik-tok couple while other patrons were waiting to order and recieve their food for ever. Their table was full and getting non-stop dishes every few minutes while others had to wait. I got up, asked to bill me for what I ate (appetizers) and told them that they need to focus on customers paying money and NOT focus on social media influencers eating food for free and getting them likes...while so many customers were waiting to order/recieve their orders..the guy at the counter offered to not bill me but I informee him that I don't need their free food and that they need to learn a lot about customer service. Never again will I go...
