It breaks my heart to write this review bc I’m OBSESSED with the Caesar salad with chicken added. Their Caesar salad dressing is literally the best on the planet paired with their homemade focaccia bread croutons and grilled chicken. But apparently it’s not something you can order as delivery…
I have been ordering 2 Caesar salads with chicken added for delivery every Friday for weeks now for dinner. I started out on the 3rd party apps since the delivery fee is cheaper than when you do it on their site. But week after week, something is always missing, sometimes the grated cheese, sometimes there’s barely any dressing in the containers, sometimes they completely forget the dressing which I mean how does one eat a salad without the dressing? I even check off the extra dressing and extra cheese boxes hoping that will notify them to just NOT forget it… eventually I switched over to ordering on their website and paying even more in delivery fees thinking maybe just maybe I can get everything needed that goes in the salad if order direct but we still keep getting stuff missed (dressing or grated cheese).
Fast forward to our last order Fri Feb 14th this time even though I paid $4.99 per salad to add chicken (as I do every week) to both salads, guess what they didn’t include - the chicken!!! I called and was told I could get refunded when the manager had time, but that never happened. It breaks my heart bc it’s my favorite chicken Caesar salad in south jersey. The way the grill the chicken, their dressing, the homemade focaccia bread croutons BUT how can I continue to order delivery and never know if you’ll be even able to put a salad together with what they send. Especially at like $20 a salad.
So if you order delivery, be careful you never know what you will get when your...
Read moreI hate feeling like I just have to say something negative about any small business especially when I really did enjoy the food itself. I couldn't stop the feeling like I was straight up ripped off from this place. I ordered a Large 12" Margherita pie and just had it delivered, service was prompt and all was well until the driver handed me the box and immediately my first thought was "this box feels empty" but it was a standard Large pizza box size. I take it inside, open the box and I'm annoyed because I'm positive they messed up my order and sent me a personal size pie instead of a Large. I have pics if the owner wants to reach out, but this pizza was cut into 8 slices but the slices were incredibly thin... They were the size of cheesy bread slices, I'm not exaggerating at all. All in all, the entire pie was equal to the size of 2 1/2 to maybe 3 slices of a typical slice of margherita you'd see in just about every pizza shop in the world. Again, I am not exaggerating, not even a little bit. This was a $23 before tax pie and when I called to see if they made a mistake, the explanation I received was if it's sliced into 8 slimces, it's a Large. I cour cut a waffle into 8 slices, doesn't make it a large pie. And why put such a small pie that's on your menu in such a huge box for a pie that size?? I still believe they made a mistake, idk how or whatever but this is totally unacceptable and I hate writing reviews cause literally everything else was great. The woman I spoke with when I called back was very nice and the pizza was delicious even though it was supposed to feed 3, but only fed 2 barely. I basically paid $25 for some cheesy bread in a...
Read moreDisappointing. I’ve been here a handful of times and the pizza is good. But I’ve been burnt a couple times. First time I ordered pizza I got prosciutto and they cooked it with the pizza. I did not instruct them to do so, but it was delicious. This being said, I assumed it was a standard procedure to make it this way so I never specified to cook or not to cook the prosciutto-understandable. That being said I ordered the same pizza and this time they did NOT cook the prosciutto. Fair enough. Lack of consistency, but again I didn’t specify so that’s on me. Next time I order online and specifically say in the notes to cook the prosciutto. Then I proceeded to leave a tip online with my order. I pick up my pizza, and the prosciutto is not cooked. Just laid on top afterwords. I go back in the store and indicate the error and ask it to be put back in the oven. No apology for the inconvenience or waste of time. Maybe you take the preemptive tip solicitation off the online ordering if you aren’t willing to provide above average service. If tips are provided at the end of the pickup service, then the customer service for takeout may give the same attention as the eat in diners who are tipping at the end. Edit: I initially gave a 1 star review, but updated it to a 3 since the manager of this restaurant promptly reached out. So credit where credit is due, I’ve...
