Skyler's Hoagies — Restaurant in Mount Laurel Township

The cheesesteaks from here are really great because they are well balanced in their cheese to steak ratio and they are light in terms of they aren't greasy and the bread stays dry which I greatly appreciate in a cheesesteak, they give you an awesome serving and the cheesesteaks are satisfying so you can eat one or more than one if you are an industrial worker and feel great and energized! The wings from here also absolutely stellar. With that being said the best part of Skyler's Hoagies is the family that runs this eatery. I went to school with Skyler and I can say with full confidence she is the absolutely nicest and kindest friend I'll ever have. She did an act of kindness for me so infinitely above and beyond what I know to be kindness. I want to express my gratitude as it took me until today to fully comprehend how someone can be so selfless and thoughtful, a trait I have known her to have since we first met each other in gym class where she picked me first for a gym activity. I have seen her throughout the years and I hope that we can reconnect in the future and that I can thank her. Her mom and dad and her deserve endless blessings. I hope South Jersey keeps Skyler's Hoagies around forever. Skyler is truly a hero in my life... no pun...

There simply are not enough stars for this wonderful place. Let’s start with the basics - the food is simply the best, freshest, tastiest sandwich that you will find. The ingredients are perfect, high quality and perfectly composed. Then there is the physical space which is immaculate- you feel very confident that your food will be prepared with great attention to detail when the space is so meticulously maintained. Last but not least (and actually most importantly!) is the service. The team is hard working, genuine and so so warm.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday after a long absence. We moved a fair distance away last year and Skylar’s is the one and only thing we miss! We are preparing for Gobbler Season - first week of November- get ready everyone and if you don’t already know PLEASE trust me and give it a try.

I’ve read a review about a long wait and just had to say that this ought to tell you how very special this place is. Well worth the wait. Sundays are so busy with football season - maybe just avoid the hour around kickoff.

On a whim I decided to try Skyler's to try something new since I usually opt to go to Wawa or my local pizza place for hoagies. Well let me just say that my expectations were completely blown away! I might be over analyzing this hoagie but everything was perfect. From how the hoagie was wrapped and cut to how to was prepared and most importantly you could taste the love that went into making it. I ordered my usual ham and cheese with lettuce and onion. Pretty simple but this particular hoagie was on another level. The onions and lettuce were chopped to perfection such that each bite had the perfect amount of meat, cheese, lettuce, and onion. The hoagie was seasoned ideally and coated in just the right amount of oil and vinegar. The most upsetting thing about my meal was that it ended before I wanted it to. I truly wish I ordered 2 hoagies!!

Overall I HIGHLY recommend Skyler's Hoagies and I will most definitely be visiting this place several times a week after...
