Dino's Pizza — Restaurant in Mount Olive

We go to Dino’s whenever we are in the area but always for takeout and always happy. This time, my husband and I decided to eat in and bring some to-go food home. I ordered the cavatelli with broccoli and forgot to ask for red sauce rather than the oil/garlic sauce it normally comes with. When it was served and I realized my error, I asked waitress to bring me an order of cavatelli with red sauce and I would pay for both meals since it was my mistake. She took my original order away and pretty quickly came back with cavatelli with red sauce, which was surprising how fast it came back. The sauce didn’t taste “right,” had a tang to it and there was a LOT (too much) sauce. We got our bill and the to-go food. Since I was being charged for my original cavatelli, I expected it would be in with the to-go food but I did not check before leaving. Imagine my surprise when I got home and my cavatelli was not there - meaning I was charged the $16 for a meal that I didn’t get - OR - did they simply dump those cavatelli in a strainer and then pour sauce on it and re-served it to me (which is why it had the odd taste - olive oil?)? Either way, if I paid for two meals, I should have been given the other meal to take home or at least been ASKED if I wanted it - since someone else at home would have eaten...

There’s a few things wrong when I order pizza from here number one. I stopped ordering fresh pies to my house because whoever makes the pies to order is different from the pies that are already sitting on display. Every time I order a pie I immediately regret it it’s over greasy the crust is too thick and there’s way too much cheese. I’m chewing rubber chunks of cheese on my pizza and they put so much soup that it’s dripping off of my pie.

So now I only get slices and I get slices. Whoever makes the pies in the morning they’re good. They’re thin crossed their crunchy but I recently just got a few slices and once again we’re back to too much sauce and way too much cheese. My slice did not stand up at all. It was completely soggy, and the cheese was sliding off.

This is to reply to the owners response: You guys had the best slices around the best tasting sauce, very little sauce, very thin crust and a perfect amount of cheese. Whoever is making the pies fresh is just slapping a ton of cheese on it and way too much sauce.. So I think whoever is making them in the morning for the slices that are on display that person...

This place is terrible. 1st time ordering from this place and the whole experience was awful. Lady that took our order was great but once the food got delivered everything went downhill. All I ordered was a Chicken Parm Sub, Chicken Marsala, a 20 oz Diet Coke, and a 20 oz Coke. 1st the lady delivered the food but not the drinks, 2nd we opened up the food for the Chicken Marsala to be all over the bag and soaking the Chicken Parm Sub. We called to tell them they forgot the drinks waited almost 30 mins to deliver 2 little sodas down the road then told us we had to pay them because they didn’t add it originally. Where we then had to scramble to find cash that we had just tipped the driver with. This whole experience ruined this restaurant and we will never place another order with them. Also pricey for a small dinner...
