ā™„ļøšŸ¤©ROCKSTAR SUSHI!! My friend and I ate sushi at the bar. They accommodated me with my NO (minimal) carbs diet, and omitted the rice, at my request. I had a Double Tuna Roll ($16), which is spicy tuna, cucumber and avocado topped with seared tuna. Also, a Tanaka Roll ($15), which is spicy tuna, avocado and cucumber topped with spicy salmon. They were both fantastic! Probably because I didn’t have rice, I was still hungry, so ordered two more. (I realize without the rice, it’s no longer sushi!) My friend got the Steak Tataki Roll, and said it was awesome. (I totally forgot to get pics…sorry!!) FYI- they also can do GF/gluten free. Our server was super, and the ambiance was perfect (not too loud). It was crowded, especially for a Wednesday night, but everyone was having fun. Parking is abundant, but was crowded at six o’clock. We were so pleased with our whole experience, and will definitely be going back…(Why is it that the best sushi restaurants seem to mostly be in strip-malls?!)šŸ‘ *UPDATE: I got the very same thing again for takeout last night. It was even better this time, especially with the fire sauce that comes with the double tuna. The girls at the takeout counter were all super cool and fun too. Love Fuji! šŸ’œ

Been coming here for many years - off & on to various degrees. Food has always been fresh & service fairly solid; BUT this comes with a little higher pricetag (unless you hit the $15-18 lunch specials, hibachi that's not cooked in front of you over $30 per entree is normally a splurge... Once inside the "run of the mill facade" you are taken into an Asian sushi garden that feels a little more luxurious. This time, a menu item struck me: sizzling steak served on a hot marble slab? Unsure if it's a recent add or if it's always been overlooked (due to the $50 price point), but... I was calculating and thinking about something different this time... a splurge! If you think about the taste and value for your money, not to mention the photographic fun-factor... You cannot go wrong! #steaksizzle for days... and a 14 oz Ribeye with veggies that you cook to your desired temperature. The table fun and I had leftovers! Decent Happy Hour 4-7-- Pama Marg is worth your time. Ginza Pizza has been good in the past. Didn't try on this trip, but maybe on the next version of Treat Yo Self Steak Edition! 😁

This place is seriously a gem. The moment you walk in, you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into everything—from the layout of the restaurant to the vibe and overall atmosphere. It feels modern but still super cozy, with just the right mix of energy and relaxation, whether you're at the sushi bar or one of the hibachi tables. The food? Amazing. Super fresh sushi, creative rolls, and the hibachi is a whole experience on its own—fun, flavorful, and cooked to perfection right in front of you. You can tell the chefs know what they’re doing and actually care about every dish that goes out. What really stands out, though, is the attention to detail. The menu is clean and easy to navigate, the plating is beautiful, and even the little things—like how the tables are set up or how friendly and on-point the staff is—just make the whole experience better. Definitely one of those places you end up wanting to come back to, whether it’s for a casual night out or something a little more special. Highly recommend.

It’s a classic case of penny wise and pound foolish. Monday 11/19/18 at 2:15 to 3:15

Either the owner or manager, young girl in a dress obviously in charge, knew we were first time guests as she personally assisted us with the menu and we had a very friendly blonde hair waitress.

We eat out a lot, maybe five nights a week. Retired and wife hates to cook and a week or so Sushi. Never knew this place existed until passed it recently on the way to our fav Italian restaurant located in the same mall, but happy to find it.

We’re regulars at tsunamiā€˜s and VERY well known at Tokyo Bristol, our main weekly place. But was hoping to add a new place to our rotation list!

Point is you never know who you might offend and that’s why you ALWAYS ignore any small loss you incur for the sake of keeping your customers smiling. In this case they lost a couple customers that could have been regulars AND we’re big spenders, lunch tab was $110 with tip for two!

So when you see two NEW customers come in and they spent a LARGE amount of money at lunch? Common sense dictates keep them happy!

The situation was simple. I ordered a meal that came with either chicken, shrimp or steak. Like every other place I’ve been to, it’s NEVER a problem to order a combination. I asked for steak and shrimp. She said hang on let me see ā€œifā€ we can do that. Geez... already a signal it’s not about the customer it’s about them! Just say YES!!!

After inquiring she said there was a ā€œSMALLā€ upcharge. Now at this point I was a little shocked and asked why? Just split it evenly steak and shrimp but she didn’t know, I didn’t want to make a big deal of it, so whatever, I don’t mind a ā€œsmallā€ up charge. The meal was $14.00. I’m thinking a dollar... or two..

We get the bill and my $14 meal jumped to $24 and the ā€œsmallā€ up charge was a $10 order for a side of shrimp???? WOW!!!! Not even close to small and not even an up charge but an add on meal!!!

And why even say it’s an up charge anyway??? That’s the most mind-boggling part. Why not just simply say there will be a $10 additional charge for an extra order of shrimp? Can only imagine entrapment as why..

I blame both waitress and manager because the waitress KNEW I was concerned to begin with and failed to keep close tabs on it for me AND failed to make an adjustment on the bill when I pointed out to her that was not small and not what we discussed!! Well all she did was shake her head as if, nothing I can do now.

I also blame management for pricing it like that to begin with, which had nothing to do with the waitress when they should offer a combination already but if they don’t, pricing it out as a $10 side while presenting it to the waitress as a small up charge is DUMB.

As I say their food was good, but they are definitely not the cheapest place and are more expensive than tsunamiā€˜s, and a lot more expensive than Tokyo Bristol. But I don’t mind that as long as the food was good and in this case it was!

But to let two NEW people walk out knowing they were not happy about it? You don’t EVER let customers walk out that aren’t happy!!! Especially two people who are dropping with tip $100 for a lunch tab!!!!

I think management here is WAY too worried about pennies and principles for my liking and shows they are horrible businessmen as well.

$10 in shrimp vs YEARS AND YEARS OF REPEAT BUSINESS BY A COUPLE OF BIG...

I was really looking forward to a birthday dinner with my kids at this location and the atmosphere and service were great no complaints there the problem is the whole reason we were there, the food was terrible. Two in our party got steak and specifically identified medium rare. The steak was not even close it was more like well done. My tempura soft shell crab was not prepared correctly, they did not clean out the lungs from the crab which taste terrible and ruined the dish completely. In paying $17 for one tiny fried soft shell crab only to have it taste like armpit is simply unacceptable. This is common knowledge with preparing crab as a whole especially soft shell which you eat practically whole. The sushi preparations were just okay there are many places that I would consider to be better and at a smaller premium price. My children usually loves Sushi and none of them liked what they received at this restaurant. We got five different types and three different types of preparations and none of them were as good as many other places we have visited. Highly disappointed and for $180 meal for five we...
