Was very excited to try this place! Heard so many good things such as; it’s better than Culvers, the atmosphere is really creative, etc..
What I came to find was the food was way over price, every table was sticky, and the staff didn’t even give me options for sauces or seem to understand how the food really was. Especially when the staff member themselves said it was better than Culvers.
I got the double guacamole burger with onion rings.
The burger meat itself was very tender and flavorful, however they gave me a full patty on bottom, but a way smaller patty on top. And I was splitting the burger in half with my friend. Next there was way too much guacamole and not enough LTO. The tomato was so small it fell out onto the table during my second bite, so I didn’t even get to eat it. No wonder the tables are sticky..
The onion rings were fresh and very crispy but almost too crispy like there was barely any onion inside of it.
When I went to ask for some sauces for the dry ass onion rings they said that they charge extra and that we can’t skip line.. like wtf kind of service is this? Next time just tell us while we’re ordering that we’re going to need sauce if we don’t like eating dry over priced onion rings.
Either way I’m glad I tried it once but I will never spend 20$ on a burger and onion...
Read more🤠😒 🌟🌟? The staff was fantastic, especially the young lady who was the cashier when we came in. The decor inside was quite interesting, obviously a place kids would love. Unfortunately we didn't have our granddaughters with us. We decided to stop and grab a burger as we have never heard of Georgie porgie's before. Believe me, unless our granddaughter's want to go, we will not be going back there. The food was definitely a downer. We eat at a lot of restaurants every week. This will not be one I'll be going back to. my wife tried the Frozen Custard, she took one spoonful and threw the rest in the trash, not even on the okay level. The soda, locally-made, was barely okay. Definitely not on the level of RC, or Pepsi. Really not even Faygo. if you want a place to take your kids, they most likely would be entertained. I just wouldn't recommend the food, it's not very good. Although I'm sure it wouldn't make much difference to the kids. maybe just take them to the park, an arcade, or the mall, and then find a good restaurant for lunch, LOL. Racine has a nice little zoo, that would be a good...
Read moreWell, today I found myself in Racine, Wisconsin for a final inspection with two other coworkers. I found this place that claimed “Best burger in town!” They even boasted about it with a sign outside. The atmosphere inside is geared more towards family, and there is a few games the kids can play. Great selection of specialty burgers, AND even a special burger of the month. All of us ordered the Dragon Egg, which is the burger of the month. This is a restaurant that doesn’t ask how you want the burger cooked, but when it came out, wow. A couple bites in and I could tell, they do have a pretty darn good burger. The siracha sauce combines with the bacon and egg that created a flavor unlike I’ve had before. I can definitely get behind the Dragon Egg, as it is in my top 5 for flavor that I’ve had. I highly recommend stopping in if you’re near this place! I will definitely be stopping back by to try...
