I hate to write bad reviews, but this one is necessary. I think corporate should come and take a look at what is representing them, more likely making them look DISGUSTING! I got out of work, it's about 12am, and I am heading back to Racine. Obviously after a long day of work I wanted something in my stomach, so I was like "hey, let me get some McDonald's". I figured all McDonald's were the same, until I have been to this nasty place. I am a retail employee, business student. and son of business owners. I can verify that this place has the WORST customer service, and solution solving strategies ever!!! I ordered my stuff, when it came to paying, I paid with my card and the guy in the drive through swiped my card and kept claiming it doesn't go through, and he said "but it's on me" and let me go. I had been charged TWICE for the same transaction, plus when I went the next day not caring about the situation which had happened, the same employee took my order, and commented "we don't accept cards, only cash". Like if he were right away rejecting my service, and I had stated verbally that I wanted to cancel my order and made a turn and left to a different place. I should just drive further down into Racine for something better than this lack of customer satisfaction business. I am surprised it is still running, despite the fact the food is not meeting its expectations. Management needs to check this place out, which I feel like calling corporation to fix this before it does go out of business. I know for a fact it isn't cheap to be a franchise owner, while having a lazy careless manager of the building, unwilling to fix these issues. It's a simple task, such as organizing better, being more sanitary, and having people with great attitudes. I also would say having better connection with...
Read moreIt’s McDonald’s. I’m not sure why one would need a review for a McDonald’s but here goes. I ordered on the mobile app and due to many previous experiences as well as having previously worked in fast food myself, I opted for in store pick up. Never drive thru. Usually something is missing or not right. Walk in for breakfast, head over to the pick up counter and I’m promptly handed my 2 sandwiches and told my iced tea would be ready shortly. I take my 2 egg McMuffins to a table, slather on a healthy amount of catsup and black pepper (as one does) and I proceed to devour my McMuffins. After approximately 7 minutes (having consumed both of my sandwiches) I proceed back to the counter to inquire as to the status of my iced tea. The employee seemed completely baffled. I reminded her that she had recently informed me that my tea would be ready shortly. She turned around, seeming completely confused and wondered off. About 45 seconds later she popped up from the counter and asked what I was missing. I again, told her and unsweetened iced tea with lemon. 30 seconds more passed and she reappeared, informing me that they did not prepare my tea because they ran out of lemons. It was frustrating to eat my meal with no beverage and then wait several minutes after I finished my meal to be told that they did not have ingredients to make what I had ordered. Also the entire time I waited for my tea, I could not help but count the number of flies that were circling the establishment. The sandwiches were fine, and I got a decent deal using the app. But I wish they figured out my beverage situation in less...
Read moreWorst experience at a McDonalds ever. After I ordered my food and was handed the bag I asked if everything was in there because they packed it so full I couldnt check it. Sure enough I got home and not only was I missing a sandwich, but the fries were cold, and the chicken strips that I got for my 3 1/2 year old were harder then Walmart jerky. I called to explain the problem and Carlos the manager on duty kept cutting me off, said my sandwich was still sitting there and then told me I would have to come back and get it which was completely unacceptable when you are watching your 3 1/2 year old. After I asked him to stop cutting me off he got mad and hung up. I called back and asked for his name and the store managers name. He told me and hung up again while I was asking if the store manager would be in on Monday. So I called back again he refused to answer and told me to have a great night and hung up again. Im 45 years old and I just called McDonalds complaint hotline for the first time because of this horrible experience. I will never go back to this location because of how poorly I was treated. Obviously they dont need my $20 so I suggest no one else spend so much as $1 there and maybe when they dont make any money they will learn what customer service is about......taking care of the customer! I wish I could give this McDonalds a zero...
