Verde — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I went to the Belle Hall Verde to pick lunch. I ordered it online (order # 39236719). I was told it would be ready at 1:19, I ordered it at 12:45. I got to Verde at 1:30, it wasn’t ready until 1:45. They gave me a free cookie and a drink. However, the order was all wrong.

I used to love this place. Only two people were working up front and one in the back.

I really feel that it’s not the people (who were like early 20s) who were workings fault. Where was the manager?!? Who owns all of these places?!? They need at least 4 people working on busy days. Also, perhaps a place in the back to just to do online orders?!? Two people in the front doing walk in orders and two in the back doing online and a MANAGER making sure all is in check. I saw while waiting at least 4 different groups of people leave once they saw the line.

The poor people waiting inline had to wait for 45 plus minutes to get their food. Ridiculous!!!

The food is great but the quality of service is very poor. I pre ordered for the special salad for $3.65 day where you put in your pick up time days ahead. When I got there, there were about 30 people standing outside. Many of them had been waiting an hour or more. There were 20 salads in bags in tables inside that no one was bringing out. People who walked up and ordered got their order within 15 minutes while the rest of us that pre ordered were waiting 40, 50, 60 minutes. Unfortunately this is typical of verde, I would say my order is correct and on time 60% of the time. I would never order more than 2 salads at a time (not good for family orders) because of the amount of things they get wrong. The employees are always nice but I just don’t go there too much now because of the way they get your order wrong most...

I love the concept but the service was terrible! Placed an online order and arrived 5mins after the estimated time and the order hadn’t even been started yet. Not a single other customer to be seen in the store and the person I assume was the manager seemed to be unable to help the poor girl working the line and was more focused on wiping down salad dressing bottles while I waited. Another couple walked in and she didn’t even acknowledge them and let the other girl struggle to get everything done. I also ordered the “corn chowder” which apparently had to be re-heated and took an extra 5mins after the salads were done. Picture is attached, but it certainly doesn’t look like corn chowder and I’m unwilling to try it. The salads aren’t bad but I definitely won’t be returning after...
