Bella Villa Pizza & Restaurant — Restaurant in Mount Pocono

We rented a house for a few days to enjoy the lake and mountains in the Poconos. We spent one day hiking around Lake Tobyhana for a few hours doing the 5 miles. We were starving when we were done and craved pizza! Our Airbnb host recommended this place for pizza.

The inside is small but quaint with a television playing. We were greeted right away, and since we were a party of 8, the young man that greeted us put 2 tables together for us. We ordered 3 pizzas, 2 liter sodas, meatballs, and rice balls. While we waited for our food, they brought out a few complimentary garlic knots, and these got our appetite going even more, as they were warm, soft, and delicious!

The pizza came out, and at first bite, I was so impressed! The sauce was flavored wonderfully, the sausage atop the pizza was sliced thin which was a nice change from crumbles! The crust was soft with perfect amount of chewiness! My son ate the rice balls, and he said they were wonderful! They were stuffed with meat and veggies along with the rice. The meatballs were good too.

We chatted with the owner throughout the meal and asked if they were Italian since half of our group was Sicilian. They are immigrants from Guatamala and a family run business! I was impressed with their mastery of authentic Italian flavors! The father cooked the pizza while the younger son served us our food with affable manners! We learned the matriarch was out shopping for fresh ingredients with the other son, so everyone actively works the business! We were so impressed with the food and service and will seek this place out again next time we...

Whoever reads this, please stay away from this scam place. I recently moved here and supported this place with several pick-up orders and deliveries, despite the fact they served me a plain Cesar Salad with the prepackaged RANCH dressing on the side. I should know better and see this as I red flag.

But I still went on to support this business and placed a delivery order over the SLICE app tonight. Pizza came but not a 2-liter soda. They provided a delivery person with the food, but according to this establishment the delivery guy UberEats, DoorDash etc) is responsible to go over the order ticket, open the fridge and get the soda. Unheard of, same as a Caesar salad with ranch dressing, haha.

I had enough, and I will dedicate my time to telling my horrible experience to everyone in the neighborhood. Please be aware that the food quality is unacceptable, and they are cutting corners by using cheap ingredients to make their food; disappointing. Also double check your order because 90% of the time something is missing.

Save yourself a time and money and go to Domino's next door. At least they are consistent with their food quality and the service.

I hope Bella Villa Pizza continues with the same customer service till it runs out of...

Ooooooo..Everyone...MY FAMILY AND I LUV THIS PLACE!!I first visited this restaurant last year,when we stayed at the Comfort .The Counter workers spoke highly of them. 🍕 IS SO,SO GOOD!!My Daughter's Liked their 🐔 chicken fingers; 🍟 fries combo..

• Update.** I recently visited them on Easter Sunday..I was Very,very Impressed that the Gentleman working there,remembered not only me,but my girls!!Hands down this is a wonderful feeling 😀!!

If I lived closer,I would surely be there about 2-twice a week..lol. So,online world.If you do travel and are in the area..Looked them up!!Go see for yourself,how good they are!!

We even stopped by before returning back home.lol.We had 🍕, 🐔 and Fench fries 🍟..We did try their chicken 🍗 wings..Omy..Delicious!!I should have gotten more...

Bella...if you ever read my feedback...I will see you next year!!Thank you for preparing some good food for us..Seriously..My Daughter's has a eating Disorder..However, she was the one who asked,can we go to Bella!!.Thank you for helping my Daughter to be able to eat food that she enjoys!!
