I stayed at Tom and Maureen's for 4 nights and loved every moment of it. They are both super friendly, accommodating, and truly puts the breakfast in BnB. We had the best breakfast every morning filled with organic homemade pastries, juices, fresh baked bread, and then ended the morning with feeding their adorable dogs (with their permission). The place is clean, quiet, airy and has a home-y vibe with tons of character. Maureen has a great story for each of the pieces she procured for the house from the paintings to the butter holder. They were also fantastic in recommending places for hiking and eating. Their place is right by Jubilee's (or as the locals lovingly call it, Jubes) which is a fantastic place to end your night. We have stayed in other BnBs in the area and this is our new favorite. Thanks for having us!

The nicest hosts, the dogs are very sweet and well behaved, Maureen & Tom have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay perfect. There was a fridge and coffeemaker in our room (Keurig) & every thing you could think of in the bathroom- bathroom cups,q tips, soap, you name it. And the dining area has snackage, beverages, every coffee or tea AND every accoutrement. There’s a very complete welcome book in each of 3 rooms and thank goodness, the rooms are on the first floor. There are several lovely spots to dine outside on the lawn and one in perfect shade for pasty redheads like me- cool in this dreadful heat under the trees. Maureen bakes for breakfast while Tom cooks. They are wonderful, relaxed people who make you feel more than welcome. I wish we had decided to stay here longer! This was our room. ❤️❤️❤️

We quite randomly stumbled on Tom & Maureen’s B&B whilst transiting between Niagara Falls and NYC - and well did we get lucky here. The B&B is absolutely perfect in every aspect - beautiful surroundings, quaint interior with superb attention to detail to accommodate the guests and a super comfortable bed! But the 4-course gourmet breakfast had to be the highlight - amazing - we didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! Oh yes, and the 3 beautiful rescue dogs that came to say hello and make us welcome too! I can’t recommend this place and the hosts highly enough!

A Delightful Escape at Maurrocks B&B

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maurrocks B&B for a night, and it was an experience that left us utterly enchanted. From the moment we stepped through the charming entrance, we knew we were in for a treat.

Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the gracious hosts, who exuded genuine hospitality. They provided us with a seamless check-in process, and their attention to detail was evident in every corner of the B&B. The cozy atmosphere instantly made us feel right at home.

Our room was a haven of comfort and style, adorned with tasteful decor that perfectly captured the essence of the location. The attention to design did not compromise functionality – from the plush bedding to the well-appointed amenities, everything was thoughtfully curated for a truly relaxing stay.

One of the highlights of our stay was the delectable breakfast that was served to us in the morning. The hosts had prepared a spread of local delights and homemade treats that catered to various dietary preferences – a true testament to their dedication to making each guest feel special. We savored every bite while enjoying our host's company.

The B&B's location is also worth noting; nestled in a serene environment, it provided a tranquil escape from the bustle of everyday life. It was conveniently situated near attractions we wanted to explore, allowing us to easily embark on our planned adventures while also having a peaceful retreat to return to.

What truly set Maurrocks B&B apart was the genuine care and attention provided by the hosts. They were more than just innkeepers – they were knowledgeable guides who eagerly shared recommendations, ensuring that we made the most of our short stay.

In conclusion, our one-night stay at Maurrocks B&B was a captivating journey filled with warmth, comfort, and exceptional service. If you're seeking a memorable getaway that combines relaxation with personalized care, this charming B&B is an absolute gem. We left with rejuvenated spirits and a promise to return for a longer stay in the future. Highly...

Winter storm, 18-19 Feb 2021 @1900, Tired, cold, hungry, weary from working 13 hours but, still have a 1 hour drive home from work through a winding, icy highway and the relentless snow is just starting .....again,! What to do??? Lo and behold, found a bed and breakfast 2 miles away—a no brainer right. All I want at this point is rest and a warm bed. That is all. However, Maurrocks offers that and MORE. Tom ( Proprietor) accommodated me on such a short notice. Luckily, there was a cancellation. He welcomed me and gave a brief tour and off I go to bed....after a glass of red, cheese and grapes. I must have slept for 7 hours straight. I woke up to an excellent homemade breakfast, muffin, fruits, ham and breakfast egg and sweet crusts baked from scratch (am too groggy from being tired to remember the ingredients and name but, boy I can certainly remember they hit the spot). Downed everything with a honey citrus tea and I felt like heaven. Thank you Maureen (Co-proprietor and Chef). After a few affable exchanges with the guests and finding that one other guest and Maureen is also a nurse by history, I felt commonality with them, I relaxed more, ate again and more. Soon was ready for another nap. Mentioned this to Maureen and after finding out that I’m heading back into work she said she is planning on prepping a to go lunch box for me. I was tremendously touched. I can go on forever, and write more about my personal experience and I know I can. Maurrocks is a quaint and a wonderful refuge for the tired and weary, the adventurer and anybody seeking a sanctuary away from home. Extremely and highly recommendable. I am hooked and I am coming back either alone or with loved ones to share the Maurrocks experience! Thank you Maurrocks and thank you Tom and...

So glad my husband and I discovered this perfect little gem in the heart of Mt. Pocono. Tom and Maureen are excellent hosts. They made us feel really welcome in their beautiful home. Maureen baked us scones upon our arrival, and we were greeted by all their fabulous furry kids, whom we instantly fell in love with. lol She told us about the history of the home, and both her and Tom gave us excellent recommendations as where to eat lunch/dinner. They also pointed us in the right direction as far as attractions and things to do that were open in the area on weekdays.

Our room was absolutely charming. The bed was very comfortable. The room has everything you need, and more than you'd find in any hotel. The same with the bathroom. I didn't forget to pack anything. But if I had, there was toiletries available. We were free to help ourselves to coffee and snacks. But with the yummy strudel and scones left over, snacks were never needed. The living room was extremely comfortable and quiet and we spent our nights reading in front of a crackling fire.

Breakfast was on a whole other level compared to your average B&B fare. Tom is an amazing cook and really take great care in preparing you a wonderful breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed our conversation with him as much as we enjoyed the food. This was our 16th anniversary and the stay reminded us of the now defunct B&B we stayed in for our Honeymoon. We hope to make this our anniversary go to and stay in each room. I would...
