Pocono Village Mall — Local services in Mount Pocono

This is the largest ShopRite that I have ever been to! All I can say is; that with the variety of items and diverse selection of merchandise that they have here if they don't have what you need you probably won't find out there unless you shop of on line.. there is a walk through door between shoprite and a liquor store that connects the two stores so now you really have it all.... plenty of automated self check out stations as well. It's worth to go here just to see the size of this place...although I did have a problem with purchasing plums while checking out in the self service checkout station and despite the fact that the person in charge of the stations was not able to find the matching item on the checkout screen. A decent shoprite but they need to clean their entrance a bit more before I can give a five stars. My kids walk in with me and they say, dad this is the worst shoprite ever as we were walking in. I had to hush them and just keep walking but I was thinking to myself...yeah son...this might not be good. Once you're in the store however it's completely different. I'm impressed. Over a supermarket? Yes. They have a wide range of items, including Hispanic foods. I did not expect that. The prices are pretty good also. The parking lot was a good size. Definitely unexpected. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because unlike other ShopRites, I didn't see a section with prepared Chinese food or sushi. Other than that, Definitely stop in.
