Honestly one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a restaurant on multiple occasions. The first time my fiance and I came to this location we ordered online through the app as we both had just gotten off of work and just wanted to get food an go home. I then get a call after about 5 minutes with the employee saying that they were out of bread, we understood and were given the option of each of our sandwiches made with the smaller sized bread. We declined because they said they would only make one which would be half the size for the price of a regular sized sub, I then ask to just get a refund and was told that I would have to call the next day to speak with the store manager. I called the next day and was told they cannot make refunds made for orders made on previous days and that we were "out of luck" according to the manager. I then told my fiance that we would not be going back for awhile, well tonight was that night and boy it was not great. We once again order on the app due to work and get our sandwiches after waiting 15 minutes for fresh bread to be made. We understood as dinner rush had probably just finished and they were making the last of the bread for the night, granted we had ordered about 20 minutes before we showed up and still had to wait. We eventually get our subs and make our way home and are met with a sub made correctly and one made absolutely completely wrong. My fiance offers to go back as I was in the shower and she goes to take it back, this time she calls ahead and is told they have no bread again, she relays this to me in a text after I'm out of the shower and I say I just want a refund and I'll find something at home. She passes that on to the person on the phone and is told that they do NO refunds on online orders and they can either make the little sub but once again only one for the price of the regular size or we get nothing. My fiance agrees to this and gets the sub. This is insane, I've had this kind of situation a multitude of times in mount vernon and have been given a refund on every occasion I had asked for one even if the order was made online, this is not only the worst Jimmy John's I've been too but probably one of the worst services I've ever been given at a restaurant. Read moreIts been a while since I ate from Jimmy John's and for some reason I was craving their bread. I remember stopping in sometimes to buy their 'day old' bread to make my own sandwiches with. My first 'new' experience was one to remember.. I walked in and was greeted friendly and so I looked at the menu on the wall just to see if I could pick out my favorite sandwich from what I could see. I couldn't, but I did note the sizes of the sandwiches and opted for a Classic JJBLT, only I didn't refer to it as a classic and decided to give exact measurements instead. Now given that people sometimes say to me "You're not from around here are ya?" on the account of my British accent, I seemed to bring some confusion as I said "I'd like and eight inch JJBLT Please" but what she heard was "I'd like an eighteen inch.." lol It took a few repeats before whatever extra syllable i was unconsciously adding to eight to where I just refereed to it as "A Classic JJBLT". I blame my accent on it because sometimes I can say things pretty well spoken, IMHO but unless the recipient is expecting my pronunciation I may as well say gibberish.. (I had to fake an american accent at McDonald's on the 5th time I said 'Sweet Tea' and for some reason Water resembles Big Mac) But I digress. After getting my order all straightened out I practically got my sandwich within 30 seconds. Staff were bright and friendly and look like they wanted to be there and around their coworkers and everything looked very clean. I've been back as often as my wallet allows me to.. Sometimes its like a crocodile, ones its jaws are shut it takes a stiff letter to congress to get them to pry apart. (Did I just go 2 metaphors deep?)

This must be the worst Jimmy Johns ever. I will definitely not order from this location again. Pretty incompetent people work here I’m sure if it’s this bad. They gave me a sandwich without the lunch meat and i didn’t order it that way. The second one was a large sandwich cut in half they said they dropped one of the halves which I’m surprised by the reviews and the lack of lunch meat on the other i ordered that they didn’t give me the one that fell. They remade the other half very sloppily similar to what the other review photo someone posted looked like I’m usually not that particular about things like that but come on.
