Today we wemt in 10 deep. Today is 11.17.24. We were told on a rainy day, we can't be seated unless we were all there. Did you get that? Furthermore, they were mad at me as I was inside wanting to see where sister sat since they split us at my request to a 6 top and a 4 top, and the staff said I couldn't be inside unless we were eating as I was blocking the fire doors. Their layout does not conform with fire egress as they have too small of doors. 3-0 one way, 3-0 the other. However, I'm not an overly large guy. So, the 8 top we were turned into a 10 top as we all have visited regularly for over 8 years. The food is great. The chefs are great. I've offered to invest in Mr. T's.... but today was unique. The rudeness of the hostess and the unreal demeanor of the staff religiously having people wait outside because of fire lane violations... so to add, a large guy exceeding 400 pounds came in and they let him wait inside as he was cold. For the record, my party is an all native party. We love the place... but my family didn't like the way I was told to leave, and the other patron was not. He was allowed inside as he was cold. To add another wrinkle, one lady in our party is 8 months pregnant... and she has a baby shower at 5 pm today. When she showed with her hubby and child, making us a party of 10, they changed the wait time to 40-60 minutes more. So.... Unreal. Maybe they need to consider allowing us to make reservations so they stop having this stress added to their staff. It's quite clear when you make a pregnant woman and kid wait outside too...add 40-60 minutes to the wait time, I'd say it's time to evaluate...

Wow! I'm a local and I finally got to eat here! And I LOVE IT! Where do I start? I came with a friend to eat breakfast here. I think my plate was like $13 dollars. Only reason I remember is that I paid for my friend and it ended up being like $26 dollars. But although that might sound expensive to some wait till you see how big are your pancakes and the breakfast plate. My friend and I, even came to the conclusion, we would have been fine if we had even shared a plate. Everything tasted amazing. From pancakes to hash browns to biscuits. Oh my goodness! those biscuits definitely beat KFC and pancakes, I-Hop's! One of the things I really liked, was that the waitress was very attentive. She would come around and refill my cup of Joe all the time and I wasn't even finished with it!That to me is excellent service. So excellent, I haven't forgotten and really want to go back again and bring my family and close friends. We got helped right away even though it seem busy. Who does that? The place is pretty popular I believe. So go check it out and quit...

I started coming here 5 years ago. Since June there's a new owner and I really like her! She was our server today. Classic American breakfast food. Everything I've eaten here has been just great! I go for breakfast. The portion sizes are still outrageously huge. There are a few changes and all for the better. The staff are all very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. Food comes quickly and is cooked well. If there's a wait, tables turn rather quickly. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.

And make sure you try their fresh squeezed orange juice that you squeeze yourself using a very cool juice machine... Just choose your oranges.

The parking is adequate for this size restaurant. The building can't grow in size and neither can parking grow. People are allowed to park across the street, just don't park at the front door of that business. No sign is needed. When it's busy enough to need extra parking, it becomes pretty obvious because you won't be the only people looking for parking or walking across the street to or from...

Stopped in Saturday for brunch. 20 minute wait for a table for two. Very popular place within the community. I really liked the portion sizes, the taste of the food and the quality. Overall it's an amazing value and what you'd expect for an American country breakfast diner. It's the kind of place my grandparents would take me to, and you'd go every other weekend or after church. I got a cowboy scramble and my wife got the country fried steak. Food was hot when it got to us and very flavorable..though i added a lot of hot sauce and pepper to mine. We both took boxes for our leftovers. Be very hungry when you come here, or have space in the fridge to bring it back home. It's comparable to Billy's Cafe in burlington, but if i had to choose one or the other...its a tough choice. Mr. Ts would be my choice if i wanted biscuits and gravy. Also, the service wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. Our table was clean and had water waiting for us. Waitress was nice. The place could be updated inside but It's what gives the place charm! I will be coming back.

I had to be in the area for the day, so I decided to stop in for breakfast. It was around 10:00 on a Friday morning and they were pretty busy with both dine in and take out orders. I went inside to see about getting a table and was informed, for the future, that I was supposed to check in at the take out window outside first. She found me a table anyway and didn't make me go back outside to do it the "right" way. I ordered a half order of the biscuits and gravy. It's huge! I wasn't able to finish it. It was good. The biscuit tasted biscuit-y and the gravy had bits of sausage in it. The coffee tasted like someone had used the coffee pot for an ashtray. It was so horrible that even though I added 6 of those little half-n-half cups I still couldn't drink it. But I didn't say anything because the waitress was so busy that I felt bad for her.

Our waitress was Becky and she was great! I had the Cajun omelet with pan fried potatoes and a homemade biscuit. OMG, the biscuit was huge and very tasty. I am from South Texas with many Cajun friends and family. The omelet was delicious and I can honestly say it would pass the test back home. The pan fried potatoes however were a bit dry but still tasted good. My daughter had the Chickenwich. It was very large. The meat was juicy and tender but she said the breading was a little bland. She had fries which were very good. The decor felt like my first house, it had the same little apple curtains. If you come during peak times, be prepared for a full parking lot. There are only fourteen with none designated for handicapped. They are however handicapped accessible.
