My husband and Ioved this place so much that we brought my parents who were visiting from out of town. We went on a Friday around noon for lunch and beers. They had 6 beers to choose from (normally WAY more of a selection) and had ZERO red wine and only 2 white wines. Our server told us the red wine had been delivered but wouldn’t open it for us. Then we ordered food from their specials menu. My dad got their crab and lobster cake and it was there was ZERO crab or lobster in the cake - it was all breading and Mayo and no meat. I ordered the special slider and the kings Hawaiian roll was bigger than the patty. I am so disappointed in TH because when we asked to speak with the manager all she said to us was she didn’t order things on time and that was it - she didn’t offer to go open the red wine and she didn’t comp anything for us including my dad’s “crab cake” that he couldn’t eat and just said come back again. I don’t normally write reviews but this service was unacceptable especially when I know their standards are normally higher. We have met the chefs and tried many of their food items but this was not worth the money we spent that day. We will not be returning until their service and standards are better under control because I was embarrassed bringing my parents there after talking it up as much as I did. Please up your game...
Read moreThe venue is charming and the menu looks impressive, but the execution is lacking. The house-brewed beer has a bad burned banana bitter finish that is common in my experience to brewsters who haven't figured it out yet. Get something from one of the guest taps. The menu looks impressive, but the food is a let down. The "crab" is fake but is not listed on the menu as such. The salads are not tossed and the salad ingredients are too big. The macaroni and cheese was not cooked through and featured raw pre-shredded cheese on the top, which was a bad fit because the anti-caking agent in pre-shredded cheese is not good when served raw. The burger was decent, but the bun had stale edges. Tots were served lukewarm. They would greatly benefit from paring down the menu and specializing in some kickass signature dishes. I really want these guys to succeed because the space is great and the service is good. Will visit again--hoping for better next time.
Also, please fix the bathroom. It needs a purse hook and a garbage can next to the toilet. It's spacious, but that's a downside when I have to hook shot a tampon across the room to hit the garbage can or hold onto it until I can get off the toilet. Please lower the mirror by about 3 inches because although it is very tall, the bottom is too high for a short woman. A shelf under the mirror would be...
Read moreWent in to have a beer, went up to the counter and told to have a seat. We went and had a seat in the front, Tatum came in and cleaned a table and took another customers order and told another family who came in after us she would be back. About 10-15 minutes later Tatum came back, dropped off the beers at another table and took a families order. As she walked by us, my husband said excuse me twice, she stopped and looked at us but wouldn't come to the table. My husband had his credit card in his hand and tapped it on the table trying to get her to come to the table. When she came over, I asked her "why we were being ignored?" and then my husband said "we went up to the bar to order but was told to have a seat and no one has been here to help" and explained to Tatum that she served other people who came in after us. We never raised our voice once, but Tatum got rude with us and asked my husband to " take a step back, and stop tapping his card." She then told us that where we were seated was someone else's section. As a manager, which is what she told us she was, wouldn't you notify your staff that there were people in her section? After telling people to take a seat, wouldn't you search them out to take an order? Needless to say we got up and left! I have gift cards I will be tossing away and we will stick with...
