White Branches — Restaurant in Mount Vernon

As a participant in the recent (2023) "Phryne & Friends" tea service, I was astounded first by the decor, then by the staff and ownership! They really went out of their way to work with everyone's dietary needs, the Customer Service (Top notch!!), their friendliness (as if we were longtime friends), the jovial and accommodating attitude.... The photo is of my cousin (L) and I (R) dressed in 1920's attire. The rest of the participants were ALSO dressed in 1920's daytime attire and looked amazing with such beautiful surroundings!

Now let's talk about the food: The selection of items for the tea was creative preparation, presentation, and truly quite good and filling. LOTS of sweets too.

The ability for the participants to order champagne or a peach belini prior to being served lunch, was also a nice surprise.

Do I recommend you attempting to secure a reservation? ABSOLUTELY! You have a variety of spaces to consider for different types of events, from meals to theatrical or musical presentations. Swing by well in advance on another day to view the options available to you, then enjoy the "day of" Event in Full Glory!

The White Branches Tea Room is far and away the most magical and unique venue in the Pacific Northwest. I was completely speechless entering the space whereupon I felt as if I was walking through an enchanted storybook that had come to life. The whimsical decor and richly appointed rooms seemed meticulously crafted to dazzle my senses; I was transported to an intoxicating and magical world far from the ordinary. The tea service was an exquisite experience of aromatic and flavorful teas, tantalizing sandwiches, scones, fruits and desserts, and waitstaff who are friendly and attentive. And that's not all -- there is a lovely boutique to greet you as you step out of the elevator and lots of beautifully decorated event space for parties and special occasions. My daughter brought me here for my birthday and it was delightful! We scheduled a mid morning full tea service where we were served a delicious brew of crème de la earl tea and a three tier platter of various goodies. The food was wonderful, every item was tasty and nicely put together. My daughter, who doesn’t even care for tea, enjoyed hers (they also had other options for non tea drinkers). The business, which also hosts a venue for theater and entertainment, was amazingly and thoughtfully decorated. It looks like a really fun place to go back to for a show or a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!! My only issue with it, is it is a little expensive for a tea outing and not something I could afford to do too often. But all in all,...
