I never review places, but felt like I needed to because I wouldn’t have visited this restaurant had I known this - cockroaches. My friend and I arrived with a reservation and sat at a table outside. Although the service was a little slow, our food was pretty good. Our experience was cut short after a large cockroach crawled up my bare leg. We looked around and there were multiple cockroaches. Another table a few yards away also had cockroaches around it. It was gross. We were very kind to our server and let her know and asked for our checks. Her reaction was apologetic and also made us think this was an ongoing issue. Having worked in a restaurant before, we assume our server asked her manager to comp our meal or at least discount it and was denied. We were prepared to overtip her very appreciatively with cash and leave. We were brought our full checks (we tipped well as always). The experience was disgusting and gross and there was no apology from management or acknowledgement of the issue. I’ve worked in service before and would be mortified to bring a check to a customer who had a roach crawl up their leg while dining. I’m sure if we made a big, Karen-style fuss, they would have taken care of it; however, you shouldn’t have to act like that for an establishment (especially of this price range) to do the right thing. We felt bad for our server and we fully regretted going to this supposedly luxury...

Before driving out to a friend's birthday party, we thought we'd stop in for a drink and a snack. The rooftop bar looked inviting so we walked up to check it out. After speaking to the bartender, we went to find a host. After a bit of roaming, she eventually found a small patio table and seated us there. We ordered an Old Fashioned and a Botanical Spritz. Both drinks were decent but nothing special, especially considering they are among the most expensive cocktails in town at $17 each. My Old Fashioned was too watered down and lacked the boozy classic bourbon taste the drink is known for. My date did enjoy her drink. We ordered the Burrata for our snack because the description sounded tasty. This is what the menu still says two days later: Grilled Peach, Benton's Ham, Basil, Saba, Chili. But when it arrived, I noticed the "peaches" didn't look or taste like peaches. When we asked about it, we discovered they were persimmons and in season, so that's why the switch. There was also no chili on the dish. So, it was a completely different flavor and texture from the dish described. Again it was good but not great nor what we ordered. The place itself is beautiful and the fall weather makes it a lovely spot to have an evening drink, but neither the cocktails nor food we had are up to the standard at other high end bars and restaurants we frequent. Too bad, because that patio is...

Bourbon Apple Cider: the bourbon was strong. It definitely went down smooth with it warmed up.

Stuffed quail with cornbread Stuffing and Bourbon Pecan Agrodolce, it was delicious. The sauce complemented the savory quail and the stuffing perfectly.

Braised short rib with wild Mushroom Risotto, Fried Onion, and Gremolata. The braised short rib was cooked perfectly tender and easily pulled apart. The risotto was flavorful, but undercooked. The server helped me to returned the risotto, kept the short rib. When the server returned, she informed me that the chef insisted on giving me a whole new serving of the braised short rib and risotto. I greatly appreciated the gesture. The risotto was better, but there were still some undercooked grains of rice.

8OZ Black angus filet with loaded Potato Gratin, Brussels Leafs, Wild Mushrooms, and an Au Poivre Vert. It was a great quality cut. My friend ordered it medium, but it was cooked rare. I helped eating it since I didn’t mind it being rare. Overall, the dish was salty, especially on the Brussels leafs and the wild mushroom. Definitely need to hold back on the salt.

Cranberry bread pudding with strawberry ice cream with good.

There is room for improvement on the food. The service was wonderful and the decor was great. I will give this place...
