I'm from Louisiana and critical of food sold as authentic NOLA. They did it. Rougaroux has the feel of a mom n pop bar/restaurant where I'm from. I had a half and half po boy, dressed. The owners know the true meaning of "dressed". It was overstuffed with perfectly cooked shrimp and oysters and quite excellent. The Leidenheimer bread is absolutely correct. (Nothing irritates me more than a po boy on a spongy hoagie roll. That's called a shrimp sandwich.) They had succotash today. It was excellent as well. I'll be back and will tell friends to come.
