Amici's East Coast Pizzeria — Restaurant in Mountain View

Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria has multiple locations so I went to the Downtown Mountain View location in California. They are known for some home cooked Italian pizza and Italian foods such as pasta, lasagna, meatball subs, etc. I have to say overall, I had a pleasant experience eating and tasting all of the food! It will definitely satisfy your Italian cravings!

I really love their Vegetable Pesto Pasta (literally that was my favorite). The pasta was eldente, love the medley of vegetables so there was so freshness in the palette and the amount of cheese that was in there! I have nothing to complain about the pasta because it was delicious and pesto is my favorite sauce on pasta!

Their classic Cheese Pizza with garlic was delicious because you get that nice cheese with that kick of glad if and it brings another level of delicious flavor you get in pizza! Really love it that garlic flavor and again how cheesy it was!

The Vento is their grape pancetta goat cheese arugula pizza and I liked it but I think that the grapes didn’t really stand out to me. I think it’s a very clever pizza, but I think the grapes should be brought out more in my opinion. Definitely a clever pizza and grape is a very hard fruit to get those flavors right but I did like the freshness of the arugula and the cheese together that was delicious!

The Hawaiian pizza ahhh the classic of the sweet and salty of the ham! I really like it however my personal preference the ham, should be a bit saltier because I think that the pizza was a bit too sweet for me because of the pineapple but overall it was some good pizza!

The Meatball sub was definitely delicious! Meatball wasn’t dry, it was moist and love the flavor of the meatball itself and how much cheese it had! Definitely very cheesy which should have in a meatball sub! Nice job!

They also brought out some Buffalo wings and I gotta say, I think the chicken needs to be saucier and it was a bit over cooked. I like the seasoning and the herbs of the chicken but I think it lacked the sauce and the flavor of the Buffalo for me.

Overall, this place really has craving me Italian food especially the pesto pasta! I just love it very much satisfied! Please support this business! Amiches is a nice and modern ambiance feel too the establishment. Offers more than just New York think crust style pizza but so much more which was a pleasant surprise. Had the 3 different style of wings offered (big party of coworkers) which where: BBQ, Spicy and Insane. The wings sizes are decent and comparable to Wing Stop size wings. I will note, that the Insane wings were tolerable, meaning I have had hotter wings such as Nashville Hot. The taste was good flavor seasoning.

We had two different Pizzas, one was "The Amiche Combo" Meat ball sliced, pepperoni, Olive and the other "A Step Beyond" Beyond sausage, Red Bell Pepers, onion and topped with Arugula. The crust for these 2 Pizzas, somewhat floppy and soggy towards the center end once you slice out a piece of the pie. As the crst was soft and thin, I think my coworker where expecting the crust to be crunchy. As the pizza will fold like a "Pappadilla". As you eat towards the edge of the crust, the crust gets more firm and more chewing action takes place.
