UPDATE BELOW!!! Went through the arbys drive thru on 44th ave and sheridan blvd tonight, ordered a #2 (roast beef sandwich meal), and came home to eat it, at 1st i noticed the sandwich looked thin however didnt put to much thought into it cus i was hungry. I attempted to take a bite out of my sandwich and it felt like i was trying to bite thru leather. I then started inspecting the sandwich trying to figure out what was actually in it. Upon inspection i noticed the meats texture felt like leather to the touch as well and it was brown and dried out. I feel as though all day it sat under the heating lamp. I would think the employees and/or employers would have more pride in their food. Doesn't anyone check the food before it leaves the line? I'll let the photos do the talking, this isnt right. Other then that the potato cakes were good as well as the service. UPDATE: An Arby's representative reached out to me with an apology. He stated he was going to send me a coupon for a free sandwich to make up for the sandwich that I had received cause they "value my business." Knowing it's just the principal of it I accepted the coupon. However it's been over a month and I have yet to see this so called coupon. If you ask me no longer will I be doing business with Arby's! My family and friends have also agreed that they will NOT be doing business with Arby's either. Stating if their franchises CAN'T hold to corporate standards it just brings DOWN the value of the brand. Read moreI usually like this Arby’s location but NOT TODAY. A man was ordering when my friend and I walked in but then said “I need to think about it” and walked away from the counter. So my friend and I stepped forward when the order clerk said “can I help you”, and ordered the two sandwiches we were looking forward to (Cordon Bleu and French Dip). But then there were three sandwiches on our order including the one that the other guy ordered but changed his mind about. The clerk expected us to pay for all three. My friend objected saying “we are not together, we don’t know him.” We asked the clerk to remove the guy's item from our order, to which she responded: “then he will have to pay for his order before you can pay for yours.” WHAT!? Why not just delete the other guys’ item off of our order, it’s a simple button press!! Her solution made no sense and was the epitome of POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Her solution would require at least two if not three button presses! SO WE LEFT (having learned not to argue with order clerks who are simply stupid or untrained), without the sandwiches we planned to enjoy, and instead were back on the road looking for something else to eat. UNTRAINED STAFF = LOST BUSINESS AND REPUTATION DENT!!! (Worse, “the guy” at 5’ 10” at most and ~160 # tried to tell my 6’ 4”, 215 # friend to “calm down” despite the fact that we never said anything other than “let’s go” … part of the reason we hightailed it out the door.) Read moreI arrived at the store at approximately 7:45 PM and the dining area lights were turned off. I still pulled up to the drive through because there was still a couple cars in the parking lot. I pull up to the speaker box and wait about a minute then I speak into it saying hello with no response i waited about 20 seconds or so and said hello again. Due to the cold air i didn't want to wait at this speaker box and let my car get colder with my infant child in the back seat i pulled around the building to notice a car at the window and someone handing out food. I get to the window and the gentleman immediately stated that someone else just did that and is causing them to get behind because its only him and one other person. I said all he had to do was say that he would be with me in a moment and I would have waited there instead of moving forward. He tried to give another excuse but then stopped and said that this was wasting more time as there is another vehicle behind me. Very disappointed with how bad customer service was.
